Late Night Paperwork

Leorio POV

I sighed and looked at Kurapika. His entire body was lying on top of mine as he was sleeping. I couldn't sleep though, I was stressed about tomorrow, I had a big meeting and if I didn't go I'd get fired.

I began to pet Kurapika's hair, I saw a small smile creep on his face as I did.

I chuckled, "I thought you were asleep." He just made a humming noise in response. I wish he would get off me though, I'm kind of thirsty.

I continued to just lay there for a few minutes before I was sure Kurapika was asleep. When Kurapika did fall asleep completely I carefully picked him up and put him down beside me.

I slowly got out of bed and walked into my office, I had so much paperwork to do for the meeting I might as well do it now before tomorrow morning. I carefully shut the door making sure to not wake up Kurapika.

I put on my glasses and began looking through my desk drawers for my paperwork. I finally found it and began filling it out.

I heard Kurapika open the door and yawn, "Leorio, come back to sleep." I sighed, "Can't. I have an early meeting out of town."

"But, it's five in the morning. It's still dark outside."

"I know."

"Well I'm going back to sleep."

"Goodnight." I winked at him and he rolled his eyes, "Goodnight Leorio." I smiled as he began to walk out.

"Kurapika." He turned around and huffed, "What Leorio?"

"I love you."

He scoffed and walked away returning back to our room. I chuckled and continued to do my paperwork but I could only think of Kurapika.

I couldn't wait to marry him.
