Leorio POV

I sat down on the couch and sighted then proceeded to close my eyes. I was absolutely exhausted from work and was in no way excited to be home where everyone was excited.

"Leorio!" Kurapika ran over to me and smiled, "Me the boys and the girls are going to the movies. Do you want to come? Sister is dropping Lily off to watch it with us."

"Kurapika-"

"It'll be fun, I promise! We're watching a horror movie, I got Melody to babysit Lucy for us, and I afterwards we're gonna go out to eat, and-"

"Kurapika please..."

"Leorio, can you please come." He grabbed my hand and tried to pull me up, "Come on!"

"I'm tired." I sighed, "My legs hurt, my wrist hurts, my head hurts, and I just wanna go to bed. I just can't right now Kurapika, I'm sorry."

He let go of me, "No, it's fine. I'll just reschedule and-"

"Just go without me, go have fun. Like I already said, I have a headache and if all of you were here I would go crazy." I said getting a bit frustrated.

"Oh. Well I just wanted this to be a family thing and it really isn't without you, so-"

"Kurapika! Just go! Jesus Christ. I'm tired and I don't need your shit right now."

Kurapika blinked, "Jeez, okay, fine. We'll go. No need to fucking yell like that."

"I only yelled cause you kept going. I said I wasn't going because I am tired and I have a fucking headache and it's 'oh I just wanted it to be a family thing. I'll just reschedule and stay home to make your headache feel worse.' I said no."

Kurapika scoffed, "Don't mock me."

"I'll do what I want." I stood, "I'm going to our room to take a nap. Have fun at the movies."

The bedroom dpot opened and the light flicked on, "I know you're awake Leorio."

He walked over to the bed and sat down beside me. He put his hand on my arm, "Are you alright?"

"No."

"What's wrong?"

"I feel terrible. My stomach hurts, I feel like I'm going to throw up, I'm agitated, and it hurts so bad." I held my eyes closed tight so I wouldn't cry, "It hurts."

He put his hand on my arm, "You're shaking."

I nodded, "Mhm."

"What hurts?" He softly creased my arm.

"Everything! I'm trying my hardest to not go back to drugs but it hurts Kurapika!" I began to cry, "I can't do it! I need to stay here so bad but all I can think about is drugs or rehab. But I can't leave you and the kids, you've been neglecting Lucy and it's driving me insane!"

"You've neglected her too-"

"I know! But you've never neglected her, it worries me so much! Especially since I'm not doimg so hot either."

He sighed, "Well you are the one who decided to do drugs. I would expect you to not he doimg so well. Why don't you go to sleep and we'll talk about it in the morning." Kurapika got up and walked to the bedroom door.

"No, I want to talk about it now! Please, tell me you'll take care of the kids if I go to rehab, and tell Lily that I'm so sorry she'll have to wait-"

Kurapika scoffed, "You're not going to rehab. Go to sleep, we can talk about it tomorrow Leorio."

"Kurapika-"

"Goodnight Leorio. I love you." And with that he shut the lights off and left the room, but if course, we didn't talk about it in the morning.
