Leorio POV

"What's something you never told anyone?"

Kurapika made a humming noise before answering, "How attractive I found you when we first met. But I thought you were like thirty something."

"Wow," I jokingly said, "Thirty? That's ten years older than I actually was! No wait, that's over ten years!"

Kurapika laughed, "I'm sorry but right now you don't look any different from when I met you it's like your body is letting you age to thirty before it changes your looks again. But you also gained weight, in a good way, got some more muscle and tattoos, piercings, and your natural hair."

"That's because of heat damage babe." I said as I tucked a strand of Kurapika's hair behind his ear.

He shrugged, "I know. Now my turn to ask you a question."

I chuckled, "Okay."

"Hmmm...what's your favorite nostalgic food? Like one that brings back good memories."

"Easy question," I replied, "pestiños. My mom would rarely make them because we never had enough money for the ingredients, but whenever she did it, well, it was a good day."

"What are they made out of?"

"Cinnamon, honey, sesame seeds, orange peels, white wine, and the basics like flour and shit."

He raised an eyebrow, "Wine?"

"Your parents never used wine to flavor food?"

"Not that I know of..."

"Oh. That's weird, whenever I make pork-chops for dinner I flavor them with beer."

"What?"

I shrugged, "Yeah gives 'em flavor. Tasty."

"I- alright whatever. Ask me a question." Kurapika sighed.

"Hmm...when's your next job interview?"

"In about two weeks, so on a.....Friday? Yeah a Friday." He looked up at me, "What type of animal would you be if you could be an animal?"

"What kind of questions is that?"

"Answer it Leorio." He said coldly.

"A fish." I thought about it then nodded, "Yeah a fish. So I can swim anywhere- no! A sea monster! So on land I'm human but under water I'm a fish."

"Like that movie Gon and Killua watched? With the Italian fish?"

I nodded, "Yeah, that one."

For the next few seconds we sat in complete silence before Kurapika sighed and looked at me.

I smiled at him softly and put my hand on his cheek.

He blushed slightly, "What?"

"You're so beautiful, my beautiful beautiful boy." I leaned over and kissed his forehead.

When I pulled away he closed his eyes and looked away, "Leorio..."

"What?"

"You're so embarrassing." He giggled and looked back up at me, "But it's cute." He tapped my nose.

"You think I'm cute? No way I won't stand for that." I pushed Kurapika off my lap and onto the floor.

Kurapika started to laugh once he calmed down he glanced up at me in awe, "I love you so much."

"I love you too Sunshine."
