Christmas Plans

Kurapika POV

"Leorio no don't put that there." I laughed, "you're doing it wrong."

"How do you put lights on a tree wrong?" Leorio asked confused, "How is that even possible?"

I grabbed them from his hands, "Just watch. You go around the entire tree, not just through it over even if you are tall enough to see over it." I smiled at him.

I finished putting the lights on the tree, and looked up at Leorio, "What? Why are you smiling like that?"

He chuckled, "Nothing, you just look so beautiful decorating the tree."

"Oh whatever," I laughed, "Help me with the ornaments."

The kids came out of the kitchen, Gon smiled at me, "We made cookies! I accidentally burnt them but we still made them."

Lilly smiled, "Mine and Alluka's batch came out fine, just waiting for them to cool off, they look absolutely delicious."

Alluka nodded.

I smilers at them, "Good job, all of you. Do you guys wanna help with the tree?"

Killua shook his head, "No, I'm good. I'll just watch."

"Party pooper." Gon teased.

"Where's Lucille at?" Lilly asked.

"She's asleep in her room sweetheart." I said, "You can call her Lucy by the way, it's alright."

"Girls, do you wanna help Kurapika and I with the tree?" Leorio asked picking up an ornament.

Alluka smiled brightly, "Yes! Yes I do! I've never decorated a tree before!"

"Then come on over, we don't have all night!" Leorio smiled, "Just be careful though, they're glass."

The girls nodded and hurried over to the tree with excitement.

I grabbed Leorio's hand and pulled him onto the couch beside me. I smiled at him , "Hey."

"Hi." He chuckled with a smile.

I sat up, "Why are you laughing?"

"You're acting so weird." He laughed.

I sat back still smiling, "I'm not acting weird, I just love you."

He ran his fingers through his hair, "So what do you want? Or what do you have to tell me?"

"Was it that obvious?" I giggled.

"Yes." He smiled, "So what is it?"

"Can we talk in private?"

"Yes?"

I stood up and grabbed his hand pulling him up with me. I pulled him into the kitchen and smiled, "Okay- what's that face for? You aren't in trouble silly."

"Silly? What's going on?" He smirked.

"Well," I grabbed both his hands, "Theres two things. One, Christmas is coming soon and I was wondering if we could maybe celebrate it the...well, Kurta and Hispanic way. Last year we celebrated the normal American way not my way or your way. And wouldn't it be so much fun to mix our cultures together!"

"Actually...yes, that sounds super fun."

"Good! That's really good! Okay, on the second note, what do you want for Christmas?"

He laughed, "I'm not telling you, ruins the surprise."

"What am I supposed to get you then?" I asked.

He shrugged and let go of my hands, "Figure it out, if you've been paying attention you might even know."

"Ooh I think I know now!" I chuckled, "Ooh I'm excited now!"

Leorio smiled and kissed my forehead, "I love you so much Sunshine."

"I love you too, Leo."
