Third Person POV

Kurapika looked at Leorio, it was around eight pm and Leorio just got back home from work and looked stressed.

Kurapika sighed, "Leorio what's wrong?" Leorio frowned, "Smith is leaving the team, apparently doesn't want a bisexual as her boss."

Kurapika frowned, "I'm sorry about that sweetie. But I bet you'll get an even better doctor than her."

Leorio laughed, "Yeah probably, her name was Karen, that's the most homophobic name ever."

Kurapika smirked, "Second place to Chad of course."

Leorio chuckled, "I remember Chad. From the fair right? We were there with Gon and Killua and he got pissed off because apparently two guys shouldn't be raising kids together."

Kurapika leaned on Leorio, "Yeah, but that's okay. I mean he also continued to call us the f-slur and me the t-slur even though I'm not trans."

Leorio nodded, "Probably was a frat boy in college." Kurapika smiled, "Yeah, what a dumbass."

Kurapika look up at Leorio, "What kind of person were you in high school?" Leorio glanced down at the smaller boy, "Me?"

"Duh."

"Oh well, I was a good student. The teachers loved me even though I smoked in the bathroom every study hall. All the girls loved me too, I flirted back with most of them. A wink or smirk. Some girls I actually did like so I let them know, but in a different way. I didn't do anything school activities, well, in middle school I was in drum-line but that didn't work out."

"What were you're friends like?"

"My friends were all assholes now that I think about it, homophobic, transphobic, sexist. I knew their jokes were wrong but I laughed with them. We were the popular kids, so we almost got away with anything. One of my friends was the annoying kid who moaned in the back of the class."

Kurapika smiled, "You sounded like an idiot." Leorio pet Kurapika's head, "I was." Kurapika held onto Leorio's arm, "I wish I knew you back then."

"No you don't."

Kurapika giggled, "It's cozy here." Leorio closed his eyes, "Yeah, it is." Soon enough they both drifted to sleep on the couch, later Oreo joined them.
