Back Again

Leorio POV

Kurapika opened the door and smiled, "Leorio, guess what."

I chuckled, "What baby?"

"Okay okay," he hurried over to the couch hiding something behind his back, "so. I decided to take a walk this morning because I have literally nothing else to do but anyway, on my walk I walked past our old apartment building and guess who I saw lurking around and come up to me."

I raised an eyebrow, "Who?"

He smiled brightly and pulled the thing out from behind him, "Oreo! Our old cat."

I looked at the cat and frowned, "Kurapika I hate that fucking cat, I thought it was gone for good."

"He came back to the apartment looking for us baby. And I found him, look how big he's gotten!"

"Why couldn't you have bought a puppy or something?"

"I hate dogs."

"And I hate Oreo."

Kurapika set him down on the floor and sighed, "Leorio we raised him as an indoor cat I couldn't have just left him."

I sighed, "I know. I'm glad you found him though, because he definitely makes you happy."

"He does make me happy. Wanna know what makes me happier?" He smiled softly.

"What?" I smiled back at him.

"Having you run to the store so you can get him some food and a litter box."

"So not cool." I chuckled and leaned back, "Alright, I'll be back soon. Do we need anything else?"

"I don't think so. Thank you though, I'd go but I'm not feeling well."

"I know baby." I stood up and kissed his forehead, "I love you, don't let that damn cat on my bed."

He laughed, "I won't. Bye Leorio."

"Bye Sunshine I'll be back soon."
