Leorio POV

I looked at Kurapika, he was playing with the cat on the floor, with a laser pointer, cute. I looked back at my book and continued to read, I had to finish the book before tomorrow, approve it, sign it, and give it back to my coworker. It was a book about our most recent case and they wanted me to help.

Kurapika gasped, "Ow." I looked up, "What happened?" Kurapika looked at his finger, "He bit me." He frowned.

I looked at the cat, "Why'd he bit you?"

"I touched his stomach. Cats don't like that." He stood up and sat beside me, "What are you reading?" I shrugged, "Just a book someone on my team wrote about a case."

He raised an eyebrow and began to read, "'One of his symptoms were s-s-sp-p-p-henop-p-p-palatine ganglioneur-r-r-raliga.' Did I say that right?"

I smiled brightly, "Yes! Good job baby!"

Kurapika lately has been struggling with some words he never seen before and every time he got one right he gets super excited. His eyes lit up, "Omg really! I got it right!"

"Yes! I'm so proud of you! But next time please say 'oh my god' and not omg!"

He nodded, "Okay I will!" He hugged me and pulled away, "I'm going to go get something to drink, do you want a coffee since you'll need to finish that book soon?"

I smiled at him softly, "Yes please."

Kurapika stood up and went to the kitchen. Moments later he handed me my coffee.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." He sat down beside and put his head on my shoulder, the rest of the night he read words aloud from the book as I read it silently.
