Kurapika POV

"Leorio," I asked, "How old is everyone on your team? I'm curious because you seem close to everyone."

"Umm," he thought for a moment, "Well Johnson is the same age as me so he's twenty-four, McDowell is forty-two, and Lockwood is nineteen almost twenty."

I sat up and looked at him, "Lockwood? Who is that?"

"They're new on the team, filling in for Smith since she left. My boss was just like 'Hey Leorio here's someone to fill in for Smith without your permission and while you're gone!' So sorry I didn't tell you."

"Your boss hired someone while you were in recovery from.....that." I said.

He nodded, "Yep. Very inconsiderate, I wish I could quit but I love my job and it's bringing in money so I can support this family."

I glared at him, "What do you mean by 'this family' Leorio? Are you cheating on me?"

He chuckled, "No I'm not. What I mean by that is I'm supporting you, Gon, Killua, Alluka, and Lucy. And not my dad, siblings, or anyone else on that side of my family."

I started to lie back down then sighed, "I was actually thinking about that side. You should get in touch, not with your dad, but your siblings. You're always telling me about your childhood with them and you seem to miss them a lot. I feel like it would be good for you, it may help."

"My siblings have gone on to do their own things. I don't care about them, they don't care about me. I'm fine with this, being my only family." He wrapped his arm around my waist, "Okay? I love you guys more than anything."

I raised an eyebrow, "Even more than money?"

"Hey, let's not get too cocky." He joked.

I giggled, "Alright, I'll be more humble."

He kissed my forehead, "I love you so much Sunshine."

I'm gonna try to get back to my normal updating schedule, y'all remember when I updated everyday, yeah trying to do that again. But I don't have many ideas so it'd be a lot of help if y'all could recommend some, thanks for reading btw :)
