Third Person POV

Two strangers stood beside each other in the pouring rain. A tall, muscular, brunette, dark, and handsome man, who was also a starving, poor man. While the other man was almost the complete opposite, a short, feminine-built, blonde, pale and beautiful, full, rich man.

The two of them stood beside each other at the bus stop. The stop was dimly lit due to the orangish streetlights, but neither of them minded. They could see fine.

The rain ran down the face of the tall man. He spent three hours getting his hair straightened just for it to be ruined the next day. At least he didn't mind the rain.

A navy blue umbrella protected the blonde from the heavy rain. His hair didn't get messed up, his clothes didn't get wet, yet he enjoyed the sound of the rain.

The brunette let out a sigh and looked at the shorter man beside him.

"Beautiful weather we're having, huh?" He joked.

The shorter man glanced up at him, "Oh, were you talking to me?"

"Who else would I be talking to?" The taller one teased.

The other man looked around and to his surprise, no one else was there. It was just the two of them. The two opposites.

The blonde chuckled, "Yes, it is nice weather."

The other man smiled, a nice comforting smile.

The richer man tucked a piece of his hair behind his ear before he turned away from the poor man swinging his umbrella with him. But the man quickly turned back around once he realized that he hit the tall man in the face with his umbrella.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry!" The blonde exclaimed, "I didn't mean to do that! Are you okay?"

The darker man had both hands on his face. He shook his head then laughed. His laugh was warm and kind. It almost made it seem like the streetlights lit up ten times brighter.

The blonde started to laugh with him.

Two strangers at the bus stop, in the pouring rain, who are complete opposites, are laughing together under the dimly lit street lights.

Their laughter died down, both of them now with dumb smiles on their faces.

"Kurapika," The blonde said, "My name is Kurapika."

"Leorio," The second replied, "My name is Leorio."

And then there was silence. You could only hear the light tap-tap of the rain hitting the ground as the two men stood staring at each other, chest tight, faces red, and smiles wide.

They both had similar thoughts run through their mind:

The tall one thought, I am not getting on that plane.

The short one thought, I am not going back.

I finally found who I was looking for.

Kurapika cleared his throat, "You're getting soaked, Leorio."

"I guess I am," Leorio smiled, still not taking his eyes of the other man.

The blonde held out his umbrella, "Here, I don't need it. I've been holding it for the past ten minutes as you just let the rain fall down on you."

"I don't mind the rain," Leorio said pushing the umbrella away, "It's okay, I don't need it."

Kurapika stood still, "Okay, I don't need it either then."

Kurapika shut the umbrella and allowed the rain to run down his face. He spent an hour getting his hair right just for it to be ruined the next hour. At least he didn't mind the rain.

Two strangers standing in the pouring rain, complete opposites who keep on getting more similar in the dimly lit street with the orange lights.

And even though they were strangers, they both knew that they found their soulmate. Any bystander who looked closely could almost see the red string that connected them and the loving glow.

Leorio looked at the his lover and lost his breath. There was nothing wrong, he didn't see anything he didn't see when he met him, he just realized he met his fate.

"You're beautiful," He muttered.

Kurapika's face quickly turned red, "We just met."

Leorio knew that was true. But both of them felt like they've known each other for an eternity, both of them loved the other.

"But, thank you," Kurapika continued, "You aren't too bad yourself."

Leorio hesitantly put his hand on the side of Kurapika's face. Kurapika wasn't startled at all, he melted at the touch and put his hand on top of Leorio's.

And yet again, there was silence, like the universe was figuring out what to do next. And did the university choose correctly.

Leorio leaned in for a kiss, and Kurapika didn't resist.

Two strangers stood with each other in the pouring rain, their bodies being dimly lit by the orange street lights. They were almost entirely the opposite. One tall one short, one blonde one brunette, one rich one poor.

But they were both deeply in love with one another.
