Heartbreaking Secrets

Leorio POV

"I should've told you! Leorio I'm so sorry!" Kurapika sobbed into my chest.

"Kurapika it's okay, I promise." I held onto him tightly, "It's okay."

He grabbed onto my shirt, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I just couldn't tell you, I barley could tell myself that it happened."

"I understand, you don't have to apologize, it's alright." I rested my head ontop of his and sighed.

"It's my fault..."

I lifted my head up, "No, no it isn't. Okay? It isn't your fault." I lifted his head up slightly, "It's not your fault Kurapika. It isn't."

He dug his face into my chest and shook his head.

"Shh, it's okay." I said softly, "It'll be okay."

"No, no, no!" He punched my chest, "It won't!"

Kurapika continued to punch me and cry, but I let him. I started to cry with Kurapika, just knowing that he was in pain was enough to inflict that pain onto me.

"Kurapika..." I sighed.

Eventually he started to stop, slowing down with each punch. But even though he stopped punching me he didn't stop crying.

"Leorio..." He said looked down.

"I know baby, I know." I put my hand on his cheek and wiped his tears, "Please be strong, okay? For the kids?"

He let out a cry and nodded, "Mhm."

He leaned back onto my chest and continued to cry, and so did I. For the rest of the night we barley even spoke.
