Christmas Shopping

Kurapika POV

Leorio groaned, "Kurapika, you can't just buy everything. We're Christmas shopping this stuff isn't for you."

I put something in the cart, "I know but how are you supposed to know what I want if I don't show you." I looked up and smiled at him, "Can I have a dog?"

He laughed before turning serious again, "Hell no." I giggled, "It was a joke." He put his hand on my shoulder, "I know baby." "No you didn't." He chuckled, "You're right." He ruffled my hair then put his hands back into his pockets.

"How about we get the boys a gaming console for the house and a portable one? They would like that right?" I asked.

Leorio nodded, "Totally, which brand should we get?"

I looked up at him surprised, "There's more than one kind?" He laughed, "Of course there is! I'm my opinion we should get them a PS5 or an Xbox Series X. What do you think?"

I shrugged, "I don't know you're the expert here."

"We should get the.......PS5 it's newer. Even though the Xbox Series X came out two days before. Fuck it get both. Also a Nintendo Switch for them both." Leorio grabbed the four boxes and put them in the cart.

"I thought you were broke."

"I was but their and your happiness is worth a lot more than money to me." I softly smiled, "That was sweet."

"Yeah yeah, since Killua already has some why don't we get Gon AirPods?"

I giggled, "Well aren't we being expensive today." Leorio smirked, "I never said they couldn't be off brand." I tilted my head, "Wowww. We're being cheap now I see. We should get him normal AirPods."

"Well aren't we being expensive today." He mocked. I laughed and put them in the cart, "Should we get them clothes and shoes?"

"You should never and I mean never, buy kids clothes and or shoes for Christmas. I learned that from my older brothers." I shrugged, "Whatever. Gon needs more variety in his closet. Killua's good but still."

Leorio smiled, "You're right baby. Let's get Gon some new outfits."

"Yeah!"

"Green! Make sure they're green." I scoffed, "Duh." I bought him one outfit because we were on a budget, it was a dark green sweater with a white collar and blue jeans. I held it up to Leorio, "What do think."

He smiled, "He's going to love it. Now what else should we get them?"

I shrugged, "What do teenage boys like? Do you know? I was homeless and depressed at their age." Leorio thought, "I dont think they would like the same thing I did..." I tilted my head, "How so?"

"Well Gon likes fishing and Killua likes skateboarding and that stuff. I liked.... running off to someplace with my friends to get away from my dad."

I chuckled, "Sounds like fun. Where'd you go?" He shrugged, "Places like LA and Detroit, one time it was San Francisco. I had fun."

I smiled, "Sounds like- Omg, look at those shoes!"

"Kurapika what did I say about omg?"

"Sorry, oh my god, look at those shoes!" I picked them up, "Can I get them?" "For Christmas." I frowned, "Please baby." Leorio sighed, "Fine but you can't wear them until after Christmas."

I hugged him then let go, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I promise I'll get you something equally as awesome!" I hugged him again.

Leorio lifted my chin and smiled, "I don't need anything, just you." He kissed me and I kissed him back, it lasted for a few seconds before he pulled away, "Let's continue shopping." I nodded, "Yeah we should."

We didn't continue shopping, instead we ended up hooking up in the Walmart bathroom.
