Arrival

Leorio POV

"Shit! Are you okay? Did I hurt you?" I asked.

Kurapika rubbed the back of his head, "Um yeah, I'm fine. It doesn't hurt, j-just continue." I shook my head, "Nope, no way. Get up, I'm taking you to the hospital for a MRI."

I got off the bed and started to get dressed.

Kurapika groaned, "I don't need to go to the hospital, and even if I did, I have my own personal doctor right here, so can please continue? The kids are coming today."

I sighed and slipped my shirt on, "Are you feeling dizzy or lightheaded? Do you have a headache? Feel nauseous?" Kurapika sighed as he swung his legs over the bed, "No, no, and no. Do I still have to go to the hospital?"

"Yes, now come on, the kids will be here in two hours so hurry up and get dressed so we can get down to the hospital."

"How long will it take?" He asked.

I shrugged, "Twenty minutes to get to the hospital, thirty to forty-five minutes for a brain MRI, ten to thirty minutes to go over the pictures, and twenty minutes to get back home. So at the least..... an hour and twenty minutes leaving forty minutes with just us, if nothing is wrong with you."

"Nothing is wrong with me, if there was something wrong I-" He paused for a minute or two, "I'm sorry what was I saying?"

I chuckled nervously, "Yeah, I'm taking you to the hospital, there's definitely something wrong up there." I tapped him on the head before picking him up, "Put some clothes on."

Kurapika groaned, "Fine."

"So how exactly did this happen?"

I shrugged, "He......um tripped and hit the back of his head." McDowell chuckled, "Then why does he look so pissed."

"He's a blonde, and an Aries."

"I'm an Aries."

I laughed, "My bad." I pressed the button on the microphone, "Hold your head still Sunshine." Kurapika held up his hand and flipped me off.

McDowell laughed, "He really is mad."

"Yeah yeah. How long will this take? We have to be home soon."

"Oh. If you don't mind me asking, why is that?" I sat back, "Kids." He nodded, "Ah okay, that makes sense."

We sat in silence for a few seconds before McDowell cleared his throat and pressed the microphone, "Alright we're done, stay still 'till we come get you."

"Kurapika! Leorio!" Gon yelled as he ran into our arms.

I hugged him back, "Hey buddy. You didn't pack anything?" Gon pulled away smiling brightly, "I did! It's still in taxi though. Should I go get it?"

Kurapika nodded, "Yeah you should."

Gon ran to the taxi as Killua and Alluka jumped out.

Killua smiled at me, "Hey old man."

"I'm in my twenties. Take your bags inside and put them in your room." Killua nodded and brought his bags inside with Alluka and Gon following.

Kurapika looked up at me, "I feel dizzy."

"I know baby, let just go sit down inside and I'll get you some medicine." Kurapika leaned his head on my arm and sigh, "Alright."

We walked inside as I rubbed his arm softly. The kids got settled in before we all went into the living room to talk.

I sighed, "Okay, just to let you three know, we may not be your parents but as of now we are your guardians. Which means we'll be in charge of your appointments, parent teacher conferences, and other things. Also you will be aloud at the hospital for bring-your-kid-to-work day."

Killua smiled, "Really?"

I nodded, "Of course, all three of you." Gon gasped, "That sounds fun!"

I chuckled, "I guess."

Kurapika leaned forward, "But remember that- what was I saying? Hold up." He sat back and put on a confused face.

Gon looked at him then at me, "Is Kurapika okay?"

I nodded, "Yeah he's fine, just a minor....... concussion, but he'll be fine in like a month or two." Gon looked at me blankly, "You're getting married next month."

"I know-"

Kurapika sat forward, "Got it. Remember that we're still young and will probably make a lot of mistakes but we'll also be able to understand most of your feelings. Such as depressed or suicidal thoughts."

I nodded, "What he said."

"How'd big brother's friend get the concussion." Alluka asked. I chuckled nervously, "He fell over and hit his head."

Killua stared at me, "You're lying. What'd you actually do?"

"He accidentally slammed me too hard into a wall." Kurapika said. Gon put on a face of confusion, "Why would you slam him into a-wait....oh! OH! EW!"

I cleared my throat, "Anyway, I ordered pizza like ten minutes ago so that'll be here soon, in the meantime let's watch a movie."

Alluka smiled, "Can we watch a princess movie?" I nodded, "Sure why not?" Gon's eyes lit up, "Can it be 'The Princess and the Frog', please?" I chuckled, "Sounds perfect."
