CHRISTMAS DAY

SENIOR YEAR

PETERS RESIDENCE / JACOBS RESIDENCE

"Soph?" Nate whispered as she opened her eyes and he smiled, "Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas." She sighed, rolling over to check the time.

8:30 am.

She groaned, "I want to go back to bed. Like, she never stops kicking."

Nate chewed his lip as he placed his hand back on her stomach, gently rubbing it, "She's just so excited to come out in a few months."

"Ugh." Sophie yawned, grabbing her glass of water from her nightstand and chugging the entire thing back before snuggling back up to Nate, "So, what did you get me for Christmas this year?"

Nate chuckled, "You know I can't tell you that. You'll have to wait and see." Sophie pouted at his words and he smiled at her, "If we get up soon, I'll give you your gift before we go to my place."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah."

"Then I'm getting up right now."

"What happened to being so tired and wanting to sleep?" He teased as she rolled her eyes.

"It's Christmas, dummy."

He watched her as she got out of bed and wander to her closet, standing there trying to decide what to wear. He could sense she was getting frustrated so he went over to her.

"What do you want to wear?"

"This! But I don't think it fits." She pointed to the cream sweater and light blue jeans that were hanging on her arm.

"Which don't fit? The sweater or the pants?"

"The pants, obviously." She said in an irritated tone.

"Okay, well, let's see what we can do. Try them on."

Sophie handed him her clothes as she grabbed underwear, socks and most importantly, a bra, since her boobs kept getting more and more swollen, which she hated. She shoved her legs into her jeans, they fit, that was until she tried to button them up and they didn't budge.

"I told you they don't fit." She said, tears forming in her eyes.

"Are you crying? Soph, it's okay. Look, we can get you more jeans-"

"I don't want more jeans! I want to wear these jeans!" She sniffled.

Boy, she was emotional lately. On and off. It would hit at the most random times.

"Okay, okay, um." Nate took a breath, "I've got an idea, but first put your sweater on because I wanna make sure it's long enough."

Sophie gave him a small glare as she threw the sweater over her head, it was pretty long so it went past the button fly.

"Okay, good, uh, where are your elastics for your hair?"
