There's something special about pregnancy. And something fucking terrifying.

It's easier your second time around, everyone says that. But for the most part, that wasn't even fucking true.

Before she even took that test Sophie knew she was pregnant. Her boobs were swollen, she felt fucking nauseous all the time and she had to pee every other minute. It's not like they were trying to have another kid. They didn't even want another one until they were both finished school. And yet here they were, once again, with an unplanned pregnancy.

It's funny how the roles were reversed this time around. Sophie was in denial, and Nate, was over the moon.

"I'm pregnant."

Nate's eyes widened, "You're what?"

"Pregnant." She sighed.

He immediately smiled.

She wondered if he had planned this somehow. No, they agreed to no more kids till later. Right?

But she couldn't help but wonder, had he been poking holes on their condoms?

"No fucking way." He wrapped his arms around her, "We're going to have another baby?"

She pushed him off, slightly repulsed by him in the moment.

"I don't know, Nate. You know this isn't what we agreed."

"And sometimes mistakes happen-"

"Did you get me pregnant on purpose?"

He widened his eyes once again, genuine shock written all over his face.

So, maybe he didn't do it on purpose.

"Sophie, what? No, I didn't. Like you said, we agreed to waiting until after school-"

"It just seems suspicious."

"Look, I swear on my life I didn't get you pregnant on purpose." He sighed, "Whatever you want to do, I'll be there for you, okay? If you want to have this baby, then have if. If you don't want to have this baby, then you don't, okay? But I'm gonna be here every step of the way."
