Chapter Thirty-Seven

"I really don't want to go to Nate's." Sophie said, sighing as Maddy groaned.

"You're coming."

"I really don't want to."

"Look, baby mama. You're coming. I invited Fezco and Nate knows he kissed you, so this is going to be an entertaining night."

Sophie groaned, "That's exactly why I don't want to go. I don't wanna deal with all of that drama."

"Old Sophie loved the drama. You need to let loose and live it up for one night."

"How am I supposed to do that? I'm almost 6 months pregnant."

"I know you'll find a way to have fun. You always do."

"I actually hate you right now."

Maddy giggled and went back over to the mirror to do her makeup. Cassie bolted through the door a few minutes later with Lexi behind her.

"You two are making up right now. I've had enough of this." Cassie said, giving Lexi a look.

"Um, hi guys." Sophie said with a small smile, "Look, Lex, I miss being able to talk to you and hangout with you. You're literally my best friend and it's sucked now having you by my side."

"I know, Sophie. It's just the whole Nate situation really makes me upset for you and it hurts me to see you in so much pain all the time."

Sophie frowned, "I understand, Lex. I just really want to be friends with you again."

Lexi sighed, "So do I."

"Again, Lex, I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry too. And I hope that everything works out the way you want it to. You deserve the very best. And I guess if being with Nate ends up making you happy, then I'll have to live with that, even if I don't agree at all."

Sophie smiled at Lexi and the two of them shared a hug before they sat down on Sophie's bed.

"I'm so thankful that you guys made up." Cassie said, smiling.

"Me too." Sophie replied.

"What are you guys wearing tonight?" Maddy said, looking back at the three girls.

"Um, this." Lexi said, pointing to her jeans and tank top.

"Same here." Cassie said, pointing at her jeans and her off the shoulder shirt.

"Uh, I haven't decided." Sophie said and Maddy nodded.

"I brought three outfits to choose from."

"Of course you did." Sophie replied to her, getting up and going over to the mirror to do her makeup.

"Why do I feel like tonight is just going to be filled with drama?" Lexi asked as Maddy looked back at her.

"Because it will be." Maddy replied with a smirk.

"Yeah, I really hope it's not filled with drama, but knowing us, it definitely will be." Sophie said, sighing.

"You used to live for the drama."

"Yeah, I used to like it more before her." Sophie replied, pointing at her bump.

"Speaking of her, do you know what you're going to name her?" Lexi asked and Sophie shook her head.

"I have no idea. That's still a few months away, so I don't have to worry about it right now."

"You say that now, but what happens when she gets here and she doesn't even have a name?"
