Chapter Forty-One

Back at the girls table, after watching Nate and Sophie continuously make each other jealous on the dance floor, Kat decided to speak up on the situation.

"I guarantee you Sophie and Nate are gonna get married. And probably divorce three times, and in some strange way, live a pretty happy life with like four kids."

Maddy nodded, "Honestly, I thought that was going to be Nate and I, but I'm glad it isn't. It's bad enough dealing with his bullshit from the sidelines, but I feel bad since she's caught in it."

"Yeah, she's going to be caught in it for the rest of her life." Lexi said, sighing.

"Hopefully the two of them grow up a bit more after the baby comes because if it's like this, well, it's probably not the best environment for a baby." Kat said.

"Okay, honestly, why do I find her and Fezco kind of cute?" Cassie said, smirking.

"For some reason, I agree." Rue mumbled, "But, I still can't believe they fucked."

"Do you guys think it's Fezco's baby?" Kat asked and the girls were unsure of what to say.

"I mean, I don't think so. She told me she fucked Fezco during the summer and technically, the first time they fucked she would have been like 2 weeks pregnant already." Maddy replied.

"All I'm saying is, if that baby comes out looking like Fezco and not Nate, don't say I didn't tell you." Kat said with a giggle, "That was a joke. I'm sure that baby is Nate's."

"Her and Fezco would probably be so much better for each other." Rue said, "But, she's never going to give up on Nate."

Lexi spoke up, "Well, he's been at her house every night for he last week just to be with her and Mia."

"Mia?" all of the girls replied and Lexi widened her eyes.

"Um, yeah. I'm pretty sure that's the baby's name, but I don't think I was supposed to say anything to anyone."

"So what? He's just been at her house with her or?" Cassie asked, curiously.

"Like, he goes over every night and will stay for a few hours just to cuddle and stuff."

"Are they fucking again?" Maddy asked and Lexi bit her lip.

"Yeah, but guys, I didn't mean to say all of this. Don't mention anything to her."

"Wow. I never knew that two people could be so fucking toxic for each other." Kat mumbled.

"Yeah, can't wait to see how this plays out." Rue said, looking towards the dance floor.

Sophie walked back inside and went to the table where everyone was sitting.

"Where's Rue and Jules?" Sophie asked asa Kat motioned towards the dance floor.

"Where did you go with Fezco?" Maddy asked with a smirk.

"He had to go, so I walked him out." Sophie said, sitting down, "I'm kind of exhausted and she's excited and won't stop kicking."

Sophie rubbed her stomach as Maddy turned to her, "Have you guys thought of any names yet?"

Sophie briefly glanced at Lexi, who was already looking away and then turned to Maddy, "There's one that Nate mentioned."

"What is it?"

"Mia." Sophie said, with a smile.

"I like that name." Cassie said, with a smile as the other girls agreed.
