Chapter One Hundred & Two

A lot can change in a few years.

That was forsure.

I'm sure you're wondering where we left off.

Again, a lot of things can change, and lots did.

As you may remember, Sophie and Nate got engaged.

She was also working part-time, whereas Nate was working overtime. The company was so busy. He was always working on a new project. Mia was busy as ever and was almost six. Sophie had been a lot happier since she started working less. It gave her more time to focus on herself, Mia and Nate.

As for everyone else, I'm sure you're curious what they've been up to...

Maddy had studied fashion design in New York for two years then ended up moving to Los Angeles. She ended up getting a job for a talent company, but she still did fashion on the side. She designed a birthday outfit for Mia each year. Maddy traveled all over the world with different people she represented, but she made time for those close to her heart.

Lexi completed her Drama degree at Juilliard and got a job on the Warner Brothers sets in Los Angeles. She was doing well for herself and she had a cute apartment right downtown. She worked her ass off too and sometimes Sophie worked about her burning herself out. Rue often stayed on her couch, but we'll get to her soon and you'll understand why.

Cassie didn't complete her Social Work degree. After her first year, she got with a guy named Tommy, who unfortunately worked for Nate. So, she saw Cassie frequently and she hadn't changed one bit. She still flirted excessively with Nate, infront of both Sophie and Mason. Sophie never really talked to her because she didn't care to. But she was a problem. She always had been. And truthfully, Tommy was kind of a problem too.

Jules also had moved back to Los Angeles last year. She spent quite a few years going back and forth between there and New York, but had recently settled in. She was still modelling, still doing fashion design, but also worked as an escort. Yep, you read that correctly.

Rue, well, Rue was Rue. She was clean for quite some time and then Sophie heard through the grapevine that she wasn't sober anymore. She had also heard that she was working for Laurie, the female drug dealer running drugs across the border and risking her life.

Kat finished her degree in Political Science and Gender studies, but moved to New York for her masters. She had stated that she hated this town one too many times so she moved and drifted away from the friend group.

BB, well, she moved to New Mexico. She had tried the female drug dealer thing, then tried to get into the film industry and now was back to trying to be a drug dealer again.

Ethan was still in New York, he hadn't left since moving for school.

Elliot, as far as Sophie knew, was still into drugs and still attempting to do music as a full-time career.

Fezco, well, Sophie wasn't sure what he was doing. He had spent some time in jail, then was released, then almost went back to jail. Now, he was laying low.
