Sophie stood in the line for food in the cafeteria as her new friend walked up to her, hopping in line behind her.

"Brought you something." Elliot handed her her container, "Again, best kale salad ever."

"Thank you very much." She smiled at him.

"Whatcha getting today?"

"I guess the chicken, potatoes and broccoli."

"That's boring."

"Well, what are you going to get?"

"A nice, greasy slice of pizza." Elliot said, pointing at the platter the lady was bringing to the front.

"That's a very good choice." Sophie said as she ordered the chicken meal.

Once again, Elliot tried to pay for her but she beat him to it.

"Hey, c'mon, I'm trying to be nice here."

"I know, but I don't need you to buy me lunch everyday."

Elliot rolled his eyes slightly, "Okay, quick game of truth or dare."

"What? Right here?"

"Yeah. Go."

"Truth."

"What happened with your baby daddy?"

"Pass."

"No, you've gotta answer it. It's part of the game."

"No, Elliot."

"Sophie, c'mon-"

"Okay fine. You really wanna know what happened? He cheated on me with one of our friends." Sophie said as tears stung her eyes.

"Oh fuck. Shit, sorry, if I would've known I wouldn't have said, uh anything." Elliot gave her a sad look, "It wasn't Maddy, was it?"

"No, Elliot, god, why the fuck do you want to know so badly?"

"Sophie, I'm sorry, I didn't know-"

"No, since you want to know so badly, it was Cassie." Sophie spat as she walked away from Elliot and went and sat with Maddy.

And Nate watched the entire interaction from the other side of the cafeteria.

And then Cassie walked into the cafeteria. Nate's closed his eyes, sensing that something bad was going to happen. Maddy and Sophie looked up at Cassie and she gave them a frightened look before she turned on her heel and practically ran out of the cafeteria.

"Shouldn't you go confront her?"

"I will after. I want to eat first."

Maddy glanced at Nate, who was staring at Sophie before glancing at Elliot, who also was staring at Sophie, "Okay, also, what the hell happened just now with Elliot?"

"He was just asking a lot of questions about me and Nate. And then I kind of yelled at him. And I told him Nate cheated on me with Cassie."

"Oh, wow, okay."

"What?"

"Nothing. Just interesting that he's so invested in you and Nate."

"Maddy." Sophie said, shooting her a glare.
