The rest of the day was pretty uneventful, until cheer practice of course. Sophie wanted to talk to her cheer coach about her situation, but she didn't have enough courage. She walked into the cheer room and went to her locker. She threw her school stuff in and quickly changed into her workout clothes since they were only required to wear their uniforms during football games.

She only had a sports bra and leggings to wear so she hoped that no one noticed how bloated she was, or the fact that her boobs also looked bigger.

"You finally get your period? You're looking a bit bloated." Maddy laughed, coming up behind her.

"Maddy, that's so fucking rude." Cassie said.

Sophie wanted to snap back so badly, but she was afraid she would accidentally say something that would lead them to realize she was pregnant.

"Whatever, Cassie." Maddy rolled her eyes and went to her locker.

"I'm sorry about Maddy. I'm also sorry for telling everyone about you and Nate."

"Oh, uh, it's fine." Sophie gave her a small smile and Cassie headed to change.

It really wasn't fine, but she didn't feel like arguing with anyone anymore. Plus, Cassie hardly ever did shit like that, so she let it slide this time.

"Everyone meet in the cafeteria in 5 minutes!" Sophie yelled and left the change room with only her phone and water bottle.

A few girls trailed behind her and as she was getting to their usual spot in the cafeteria, the football team was coming down the stairs. Sophie and Nate held eye contact for the entire time he came down the stairs and finally, she broke off contact when she heard Maddy's voice getting louder.

Once everyone was there, their coach was able to get started with the latest choreography for the first game in 2 weeks. Sophie and Cassie ended up picking a song for the pep rally and anytime the two of them would talk, Maddy would fume in the corner. After an hour and a half of  learning some new choreography, Sophie was more than ready to head home. She changed back into her tank top and skirt and grabbed her bag before walking out of the change room.

"Hey." she heard a voice say as she looked up to see Nate.

"Hey."

"Can I walk you to your car?"

"What about Maddy?" Sophie looked behind her.

He shrugged, which Sophie thought was kind of rude, "She has to bring home Cassie and two others."

"Yeah, but she's your girlfriend." Sophie said.

"And you're my best friend and the girl I knocked up. So, I think I'll walk you to your car today."

Sophie couldn't tell how he felt about the whole pregnancy thing because when she first told him, he was pissed, but now he seemed okay?

"You still feel the same about that or?" Sophie regretted asking immediately.

"We're young and no offence but, I don't think either of us are ready to be parents." she watched as he clenched his jaw, which he only did when he was mad. Nice.

"Okay." Sophie said, tears forming in her eyes as they reached her car and she unlocked it, "Uh, thanks."

Nate just gave a small smile as Sophie got into her car and drove off. She felt herself getting even more emotional, why did she pry on his feelings? Tears began streaming down her face as she pulled over to collect herself.
