It was the first day back to school after the Christmas break. Otherwise known as a fucking mess, everything was strange in a way. Something was off, for literally everyone.

Sophie groaned as she got out of bed. She wished she could just stay home, but school was important to her and she needed to keep her grades up, especially before the baby arrived.

After eating breakfast and trying to pick out an outfit, she was finally ready. Sophie was quickly running out of clothes, the bigger she got, the less that fit her. She wanted to look cute, but no matter what she threw on, it just looked horrible. She settled on a tight knit dress that was ribbed and fell to her mid-thigh, and threw her leather jacket overtop. She left her hair in its original beach waves and practically ran out the door. If she didn't hurry up and go get Maddy, they would be late.

"Girl, I thought you forgot me." Maddy said as she shut the door.

"I couldn't find anything to wear. Nothing fits."

"You know what that means, right?"

Sophie sighed as they drove off, "Yes, it means shopping."

"Fuck yes it does."

When they got to the school, they actually had more time than they thought because well, Sophie was speeding while they were driving. But as they walked in together, they spotted Cassie at the opposite end of the hall, walking in their direction.

When she spotted Maddy and Sophie, her eyes widened and she looked almost, scared. Both Maddy and Sophie noticed this and started looking at her in a strange way. Sophie looked her up and down as Cassie stood there looking petrified. What the fuck was wrong with her?

"Was it me or was that just fucking weird?" Maddy asked as Cassie booked it down the other hall.

"Yeah, that was really weird."

"She almost looked scared of us. I'm gonna go talk to her."

"Let me know what's up with her, it's probably just the after effects of how she was feeling over the break."

"Your probably right." Maddy said as they got to their lockers, she grabbed her books before turning to Sophie, "I'll see you later, okay?"

"Sounds good, Mads." Sophie grabbed her books and walked to her first class, grabbing a seat.

She noticed a boy with bleached blonde hair sat next to her. He also had some face tattoos, which she had literally never seen on a teenager before. Once their work period begun, where they could focus on finishing homework or completing the questions that were given, the boy turned towards her.

"Uh, you're Sophie, right?"

She glanced over at him and nodded, "Yeah, and you are?"
