Hope you guys are ready for a plot twist! Some of you might hate it, others might love it, but no matter what - please enjoy! Happy reading!

Sophie survived Friday at school, avoiding Nate while Nate was even avoiding her. And people began to take notice. She could hear them whispering in the halls and saying things under their breath, but she kept her head up. And she tried to be as positive as she could. It was working, sort of. Friday night she went to Maddy's and the two of them watched 10 Things I Hate about You and How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, which were two of Sophie's favourite movies. And then Saturday, well she wasn't doing much, mainly catching up on homework in the morning until Cassie texted her. And little did Sophie know, by the end of the day, a big secret of her's would be revealed to the one person she had hid it from for the last few months.

Cassie
can you come over please
like ASAP

Sophie
I'll be right over

Sophie was confused, but figured it had something to do with Cassie being pregnant and what she was planning on doing with the baby. She grabbed her keys and headed over to the Howard's, only to be greeted by Suze when she rang the doorbell.

"Ah, Sophie. Long time, no see." Suze gazed down at Sophie's stomach, "You're looking good. Getting pregnant, I see."

"Mom!" Cassie yelled, coming down the stairs, "Hey, come up."

"You gonna be ready to go at 2, honey?" Suze asked and Cassie nodded.

Go where?

Sophie followed Cassie upstairs and into hers and Lexi's room, where Lexi was sitting on the edge of her bed.

"Hi Lex." Sophie said as Lexi looked up at her.

"Hi." Lexi mumbled before going on her phone.

"So, why did you ask me to come over?"

Cassie sat down and took a deep breath, "I'm getting an abortion today at 2:30."

"Oh, wow. Okay." Sophie said, sighing.

"Are you upset?"

"No, why would I be upset, Cass?"

"Well, you're pregnant and since you kept yours, I thought you'd be upset if I told you I was getting an abortion."

"No, Cass, never. You have to do what's best for you."

"I think this is best."

"That's good to hear."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course."

"Do you ever wish you aborted your baby?" Cassie asked, hesitantly.

Lexi scoffed from the other side of the room, "Jesus, Cass."

"Honestly, sometimes I'm not sure. There's times where I'm incredibly stressed and I wish the baby didn't have to suffer from what I'm going through. And there's other times where I think about how Nate has treated me and if he will treat the baby the same way. So yeah, I guess I've thought about it."

"Do you think I'll be okay?" Cassie asked, sniffling.

Sophie smiled, "Of course you'll be okay. But you are doing this because of your own personal choice, right? Not because McKay told you to?"

"Yeah, McKay and I kind of broke up."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Cass."

"I think it's for the best. The timing wasn't right with everything, you know?"
