Nate was already annoyed over the fact that certain things were being brought to light in front of everyone, and currently, he wasn't sure how he felt about the play. But soon, that would change.
The next scene took place in the locker room.
Jake and Claire stood at the front of the stages while all the others pretended to be working out.
"All right babe. Time for me and the boys to work out."
And the extras on stage were doing sexual gestures and Sophie laughed slightly. Oh god. What is this?
"You guys are so gay."
"Babe, that's not funny." Jake laughed, "All right, come one, get outta here. Run along babe!"
And Claire disappeared from the stage.
"Come on, let's pump some iron boys!"
And Holding Out for a Hero started to play. And although she originally skipped over the fact that this was a direct hit to Nate, she was beginning to realize that Lexi included this because of what Sophie had found on his fucking phone. The only two who knew the truth were Sophie and Nate. And Sophie had accidentally opened her mouth about it prior to knowing that. Hence why Lexi was now pretending that Nate was what, gay? Or? She was confused, but the number was spectacular, so she enjoyed it.
Plus, it's just a play right?
They all cheered as they watched the guys on stage pretend to do sexual things to each other. Ethan was doing such a great fucking job.
Tons of cheers. Tons of clapping.
She watched as Jake and the others danced around the stage. And as he pretended to jerk off infront of them to the beat of the music. Sophie and Maddy were enjoying it, honestly, it was great. The other guys used water bottles to pretend that they were cumming on each other, making Sophie let out a small snicker. And near the end, a fake penis was made out of gym equipment, Jake dancing and shaking his ass in front of it. Okay, Ethan, get it. He deserves a fucking award for this shit.
Sophie heard Suze cheering and she smiled. She could tell that she was so proud of Lexi.
They did such a good fucking job with the song and the dance, the choreography was perfect. At the end they all pretended to have sex with each other and Sophie covered her mouth in shock.
Cheers. Tons of fucking cheers. And tons of clapping. Everyone fucking loved it.
They stood up and cheered, and that meant that Sophie hadn't noticed that Nate had left the auditorium.
Now, what was Nate thinking during this?
Honestly, if he wasn't already annoyed, he would have enjoyed it much more. He hated to admit that it was a great number. It was. Everyone did a great job.
But since he was already fucking irritated, it really annoyed him. Especially since it painted him in a different way, and no one knew the real truth. But it was just a play, so really it didn't matter. He knew who he was, and he didn't care if others didn't.
The longer the song went on the more annoyed he got. Plus, every now and then someone would glance at him. He wondered what they were thinking, and he hated how it made him feel. Part of him wondered what his fucking dad would think if he was here. Jesus. He would eat this up. And then he got even more pissed because he started thinking of his fucking dad. His stupid fucking father.
And so when everyone was cheering, he left the auditorium.
Sophie only noticed he left when she heard the door open and she turned to see Nate rushing out the door. She glanced back at Maddy who shrugged.
