"What?"

"I'm sorry."

"Wait so you actually cheated. Are you messin with me or what."

"No last night I went to a party with Luna and Yasmin and stuff sorta happened."

Jeez that sounds so cliché of me to do that.

"Maddie that's real bad out why would you even waste our time if you were goin to do this. You should have just stayed with that guy instead of comin back to me." he says with a somewhat angry tone.

"It wasn't a guy."

I feel like a slut right now. To the max.

"Wait.. it was a girl?"

"Ya I met her last night. Her name is Jessie and she was really sweet."

"Alrigh so it definitely wasn't a guy then righ?"

I hear his whole tone calming down.

"No she was definitely a girl."

"Oh then ya that's fine Maddie." he chuckles.

What? Hold up.

"That's fine?" I ask.

"Ya it's a girl. That's obviously harmless."

Well I'll be damned. He's actually not mad.

"Ya I mean we didn't go too far besides a few kisses. I stopped her before she tried taking off my shirt."

"Maddie that's fine alrigh as long as it wasn't a guy then I'm good."

"So a girl was fine?"

"Like I said, that's harmless. Besides, you with a girl? I'll take that rather than you bein with another guy."

For some reason I sense him smirking. I guess he's right. It was harmless and it won't happen again.

We talk for another half hour before he has to go.

"Alrigh I'll text you after I shower ya." He says.

"Okay no problem."

I'm glad last night didn't have an impact on us. We are back to normal.

I walk downstairs and say bye to Luna. As I'm on my way to my fathers house I think about texting Jessie.

I don't think I should. But we could be friends right? That wouldn't do any harm, and she's really understanding. I'll text her later tonight and talk to her about being friends.

I arrive to my fathers house and find him in the living room.

"Hey Pa how's you?"

"Hey Maddie I'm good and you?"

"I'm alrigh. So what's up? Mom told me you needed to speak with me."

"Yeah I wanted to know if you could babysit Catherine's kid while we went out of town next weekend? But please don't tell your mother, she will give out to me and never stop."

"Ya that's fine." I laugh.

"Thanks angel."

"How old is the kid anyways?"

"She's about 10 now."

"Alrighty what time you want me here?"

"Um say about 7ish?"

"Got it. No problem."

"Thanks a million doll."

Ugh I hate that nickname, and all the others he calls me. It's sickening. But I smile and ignore it.

"Ya sure. Anyways, Imma head home now. Goin to finish the rest of the break homework." I say as I hug him goodbye.

"Alright see you this weekend! Get home safely."

I take the train home and walk inside as I take off my shoes and put them by the mat.

"Hey ma."

"Hey Maddie how was last night?"

It was fun, hot, different, met a cute girl, had a few kisses. That's that.

"Eh it was alright."

"Glad you had fun."

I walk upstairs and take off my jeans as I lay in bed.

I think I should text her now. Tell her we are just friends and that's it.

Yeah I can do that. No problem.

"Hey Jessie."

I pick up my hair and cuddle Andy. If she doesn't answer tonight then I'll leave it for tomorrow. Even better.

A few moments later my phone vibrates.

"Hey, missed u tons last night ;)"

Oh boy. I don't even know how to reply to this.

I can't stop thinking about last night. I know it only a few kisses but still.

"Lol isn't that sweet." I reply.

Madison Rosario, you're lame.

Yup I'll admit it.

"Hey wanna meet up 2mm? I can pick you up and we can drive around town."

The last thing to do is be alone with her.

"Can Luna and Yasmin come?"

"Yeah that'll be fun. C u 2mm Maddie."

"Night Jessie."

Yup that's it. We are just friends and tomorrow we're just hanging out. Perfectly normal.

But normal is boring..
