It's the day of the wedding and it's going crazy. We drive to the hotel and get our room keys getting into our suites. The men on the floor below ours, and the bride and her party above theirs.
Left and right make up and hair being done, and bridesmaids getting dressed. I'm the maid of honor and I couldn't have expressed how happy I was. Luna Yasmin and Jessie give me a text letting me know their on their way to the place. After strapping on my heels, and slipping into the champagne colored dress, I was ready.
"Madison come help me please." Says my mom in the other room.
I rush over and help her get into her white dress and lace up the back. She looked absolutely beautiful. She was glowing with happiness and I couldn't help but tear up.
"Oh god Maddie please don't ruin your make up. You're going to make me cry."
"Okay okay I'm sorry." I laugh, giving her a tight hug.
"You girls ready?!" Shouts the wedding planner, and our good family friend, Adeline.
"Yup." I say.
"Let's get this show on the road!"
"This is your day Ma, enjoy it."
We go downstairs and before walking into the hall, we line up with our partners. As the other bridesmaids walk out, Nathan walks over to me and I link my arm around his, holding my bouquet.
"You're beautiful Maddie, stunning." He whispers.
"You're not too bad yourself." I tease.
Giving me a kiss on the cheek, the doors open and we walk down the isle. Seeing my family and friends together for the last time is bitter sweet. Luna Yasmin and Jessie smirk as we walk down and I wink playfully with a smile. I've gotta admit, this is an amazing day with amazing people.
Getting in line waiting for my mother to walk down, the music plays and everyone stands up. Seeing my grandparents walk her down the isle, and seeing the way Richard looked at her, was enough to tell me he truly cared. This day couldn't get any better.
During their vows, I look up and catch Nathan staring at me. There was something about the look in his eyes that gave warmth to my heart. I smile softly as my cheeks heat up with color.
"I do." Says my mother.
"I now pronounce you, man and wife. You may now kiss your bride."
Our family and friends all cheer and happiness and clap as they walk back down the isle and into the reception area. Nathan and I along with the other bridesmaids and groomsmen link up and follow behind them.

As the night comes to an end, my mother tosses her bouquet before getting into the car taking them to the airport. Surprisingly, Jessie caught it. We laugh and I run to hug my mother goodbye for the last time in who knows how long.
"You be good alright. And don't let anything stop you from doing your best." She says as she hugs me tightly.
"I won't ma, I'll let you know once I get there."
"You be good to her." She says, turning to Nathan.
"She's in good hands Ms. Rosario. I can assure you that."
She smiles and goes in hugging him.
"Thank you, Son." She whispers.
I immediately see the shock in Nathan's eyes and I'm just as surprised as well.
"I love you Mija."
"I love you more." I say giving her one last hug, we say good bye and watch as they leave.
I turn back to Nathan and see his smile.
"Wanna get out of here?" I ask.
"Up to you, I'm ready ya."
I walk back and hug my girls tightly saying goodbye to each of them due to the early flight.
"I'll miss you heffer. You better come back home sometime so that we can go shopping. Oh! And you better call me. Don't forget about me bitch."
"As if that's even possible." I hug Yasmin tightly.
"Madison be safe alright, remember our deal." Says Jessie as she hugs me.
"Definitely. Make sure Donavin doesn't get out of hand, I'll break him." I laugh.
After a long night and finally getting back home, I get out of the shower and find Nathan dozed off on my bed. I lay beside him and cuddle up against his chest, and soon feel him tightening around me.
"Sleepy head." I whisper.
"Hey it's been a long day we can both agree." He smiles, eyes still closed.
"True true, and we do have a flight to catch tomorrow."
"You sure you ready?"
I take a look at him and see his structured face. I think about nights like these and mornings with him. Days passing by and simply being together.
"I'm positive."

"Madison jaaaaasus all these bags like."
"Shhh you're goin to wake them up. Be a man and take them down."
"I'm goin to loose an arm I swear."
He takes them down and puts them in the taxi. Before getting in, I take one last look at the house, and close the door.
"HURRY UP MADDIE WE'RE LATE!"
"I'M COMIN IM COMIN."
I rush over and we arrive at the airport. This time we were leavin together. And I wouldn't want it any other way. This wasn't so bad after all.
