Chapter 53: Blowing Off Steam

(Three days later)

Y/N's POV

So after three days, we all decide to just blow off steam and have a party.

As I walk downstairs I see many people, including WW2 veterans. I also see Sam and Rhodey.

After a few minutes I find Cole and I'm now telling him about Sokovia.

Cole: Wow. Wish I could've been there.

I chuckle.

Y/N: Ah, it wasn't all rainbows.

Cole: I wouldn't have been able to come anyways. Clint has been making do some more training.

Y/N: I thought you were done?

Cole: Well I am. He just wants me to be careful.

Y/N: Makes sense.

Cole: So....have you talked to Felicia?

I chuckle again.

Y/N: Three days ago.

Cole: Isn't she coming tonight?

I shake my head.

Y/N: I have no idea man.

Cole: You really love her don't you?

The two of us walk over to the top and look down at the party.

Y/N: I think I do, yeah.

Cole: Have you told her that?

I look at Cole.

Y/N: No. no I haven't.

Cole: You gotta tell her man.

Y/N: I will. I just, after what happened with my mom and Mj and I breaking up, it just, I'm not even sure. I told MJ that being Spider-Man maybe I'm not able to have a relationship.

Cole: Dude. You can't let the superhero life take away from the wonders of love.

I smile.

Y/N: I know. I know. I'll tell her.

Cole puts his hand on my shoulder.

Cole: You better man.

I smile.

Cole then walks away from me.

(Four Hours Later)

So I'm now walking around the party and I see Bruce and Natasha talking.

I chuckle as I know those two have a thing for each other, they just won't do anything about it.

I also see Dr. Cho flirting with Thor.

As I'm walking around, I look up at the top and see Felicia.

She looked very beautiful tonight.

I then walk over to the stairs as she comes down.

Y/N: You came?

Felicia: I did say I'd think about it Spider.

Y/N: Shall we?

I hold my arm out.

She wraps her arm around mine and the two of us walk.

Y/N: Do you know how to dance, Ms. Hardy?

Felicia: Oh no. These feet on a dance floor. Not happening.

Y/N: You can scale buildings but you can't dance?

She laughs slightly at this.

Felicia: Besides, no one else is dancing.

Y/N: So? Come on.
