Halley Larusso had the perfect life, amazing friends, loving family, good grades and money, what else could she ask for? Well, that's easy to answer:

After the party Sam refused to talk about anthing that regarded Miguel and Cobra Kai, the only time she did was to question her dating Eli, she was immediately shut down by Halley telling her that the fact that her relationship didn't work out didn't meant her's was gonna end up the same way
But she couldn't deny that she had spent the rest of the nigth of the party wondering if Cobra Kai was really the problem and Eli was now too deep in it. She wondered. if that was the case, if it would be possible to get him out before it was too late. She had noticed her boyfriend's behaviour change day by day, and it was not only her, everyone had noticed. Demetri and her talked about that one day, ending in the conclusion that it was good that he was building some confidence, but both were still a little unsure about it.
Halley decided to ignore the problem, that was the easy solution and she went for it, she pretended she didn't heard the comments, that she didn't notice the changes of mood, that she didn't see how he started treating everyone, she just smiled and ignored it, brushing it off. It was not that he had changed towards her, because she could tell just how much he cared it was that it was weird seeing her very sweet boyfriend turn into a ball of anger

"But you're gonna come, right?" Eli aked worriedly. She had just told him how Sam and Daniel weren't going to the tournament, both for similar reasons, but at the same time so different
"Of course" She came back from the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn "I wouldn't dare to miss your first tournament" she sat besides him on the couch, leaving a kiss on his temple
"Good" he gave her a short kiss on her lips and stared at her, mesmerized, while she grabbed the remote and turned on the tv
"Sooo, what do you wanna watch?"her eyes focused on the screen, but when he didn't answer she looked at him, he was just staring at her "Hello?" she shook her hand in front of his eyes, that made him come into his senses" Hey, you good?" she laughed softly
"Uhm?" he raised his eyebrows"Oh, yeah, fine" he nodded
"Okay..." she narowed her eyes at him but eventually just dropped it "What do you wanna watch?" Eli was again just staring at her, this time specifically to her lips
"I can think of something better to do" he leaned in capturing her lips in a deep kiss, she put one of her hands behind her for support and the other one went to his jaw, one of his hands was on her cheek and the other one on her waist slighly moving up and down. The kiss lasted a few seconds until they finally pulled apart, forheads touching and eyes closed
"My parents could come in at any second" she said in a whisper
"Let's go to your room then" he said in the same tone
"Alrigth" she smiled mischivously and pulled herself up from under him, she interwined their hands and started walking to her room

When Halley recieved a call from Miguel the night before the tournament she knew that it wasn't gonna be good, she thought of not answering but after a few secons she decided to pick up
"Hey" she said shortly
"Halls" his voice was soft "hey, I didn't think you would pick up" he sounded relieved
"I wasn't gonna, and I probably shouldn't have" she heard him sigh "What do you want, Miguel?"
"Listen, I'm sorry, I was drunk and I didn't wanted-"
"Why are you apologizing to me?" she interrupted "I'm not the one you hit"
"I didn't mean to hit her" he justified
"That doesn't make anything better"
"I know. I know that" he raised his voice, sounding desperate
"Why are you calling me?"
"Sam isn't answering my calls" he finally said
"Of course she isn't" she rolled her eyes "I wouldn't either if my boyfriend hits me in the face"
"But-" he tried to say
"On purpose or not, you still hit her. If you are expecting me to tell her to answer you then you're losing your time. I'm not interfering in your relationship or lack of it"
"Please, just-" he interrupted himself with a sigh "What do I do?"
"Look, Miguel, you are my friend but you are being an asshole. Just leave her alone, at least for a while, she's angry and pissed. Just give her time. That's it. Have a good night" she hung up

"Well, look who's here" Diego said when Daniel, Sam, Amanda and Anthony walked in
"I thought you weren't coming" Christine hugged Amanda
"We weren't" Daniel said smiling
"There was just a change of plans" Sam hugged Halley. The whole LaRusso family went to take their seats, having to be on two different rows because there wasn't enough space in just one
"So, Miguel called me last night" at the name of the boy Sam rolled her eyes
"I really don't wanna know" she sighed
"I know. He just called me to get to you. I told him to leave you alone"
"Good" Halley wrapped Sam in a one side hug. The dojos were being called into the mat, and there was some crazy lady screaming for her son. The cousins looked at each other and put their hands on their mouths to stop themselves from laughing out loud
"From Reseda, returning to the tournament, we have-" the presenter was interrupted
"Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai! Cobra Kai!" the cobras entered the mat chanting, all in line with Johnny behind them
"And that's what I call an entrance!" the presenter said "And a badass name for a dojo. Let's hear it for Cobra Kai" Halley still clapped knowing her uncle was right behind her. Hawk looked in the stands and located his girlfriend already looking at him and sent her a small smile and a wink "And finally, fighting unaffiliated from North Hills, we have Mr. Robby Keene" he walked into the mat
"What the hell?" Halley whispered
"Did you know?" Sam asked her
"I had no idea" Robby hadn't answered any of her calls after what happened with her uncle and his dad
"I didn't know he was fighting" Amanda said
"Neither did I" Daniel said
"All right folks. Get ready"
