"Moon, this place is so...you" Sam said looking around at the spa and Halley couldn't agree more
"Isn't it?" Moon excitedly said "When Piper and I broke up there was a lot of negative energy. This place helped cut through the noise. Which is why I brought you here. You gotta find yourself. Figure who you really are" by the sound of things Halley thought this was a place she could've used a few months back
"They also do facials. So..."Yasmine added. Moon lead them to a room with a weird thing inside of it
"What is this, exactly?" Sam asked doubtfully
"This is a self-actualization pod" Moon explained
"So like a sensory deprivation tank?"
"Oh, no, no, no. They don't call it that anymore. It's not about deprivation. It's about connection with your innermost self"
"Thanks, but I'm still gonna pass. I already have nightmares about drowning in shallow bodies water"
"Wow, that's dark" Halley glared slightly at Yasmine
"Sam, ever since the tournament you've been off balance. It's clear there's been some tension with Miguel. The only thing you're gonna find in this pond is yourself" Moon encouraged her once more "That's not so scary, right?" Sam sighed and hesitantly accepted
"It looks like a very fancy cave to me" Halley mumbled to Yasmine besides her when Sam couldn't hear them anymore, the blonde hummed
"You should try it too" Moon suggested to the brunette
"Absolutely not. I hate closed off, dark spaces, especially with water in them. That's like my own personal hell on earth" Moon looked at her with a kind smile, Halley knew exactly
"Listen, Moon, I'm great, I don't need to find myself or whatever. I'm pretty sure I already did" Halley assured confidently
"You're pretty sure?" Moon repeated her words "But are you sure, sure?" Halley and Moon maintained eye contact for a few seconds, in the end Halley sighed in defeat knowing Moon was not giving up
"Jesus, okay, I'll get in the tank"
"Pod" Moon corrected
"I still hate this idea" Halley looked up to Moon as her feet made contact with the water
"You won't when you come out" Moon assure
"We'll see" the second Moon closed the pod Halley already regretted ever accepting entering that thing, as she laid there with nothing but silence she started to doubt anything was gonna happen at all and started considering that maybe Moon had taken something before getting in her pod because what the light brunette had described had no relation with the pitch black she was seeing.
As the seconds started to tick, Halley got the need to leave that place more and more, she wasn't lying when she said she didn't like dark closed off spaces. In one last attempt at making whatever was supposed to happen, happen, the brunette closed her eyes and took a deep breath, her tense body finally relaxing in the water.
