"Men, who knew people could kick that high?"
"Or that hard" Robby added
"Dude, seriously" Eli nodded
"That's why it's the biggest competition in the world" Sam and Halley walked towards them along with Mitch and Chris
"I heard last year's winner did a car commercial in Taiwan" Eli commented
"Dude, imagine being in a commercial. What would you do with all that money?" Mitch asked
"Buy a yacht with a hot tub. Fill it up with smarties and hotties" Chris answered and dance making everyone laugh
"Alright, alright, let's not get ahead of ourselves" Daniel interrupted, walking in with Johnny and Chozen behind him "Remember, Cobra Kai is gonna do everything they can to get a spot. And if they win this time, kids all over the world are gonna have to deal with the same kinda crap you guys have gone through"
"But if we win, we can show the world how to stop them" Sam added
"First you must prove you can compete with best" Chozen said
"In order to do that, you have to be better than the best" Johnny continued "Which is why we're gonna kick your asses into high gear"
"Sensei Lawrence, Sense Toguchi and I are gonna get you ready for the presentation tomorrow. Come on, let's get warmed up" Daniel finished

The presentation went smoothly in the Miyagi-do dojo. Daniel was the one in charge of explaining how they did things around as all of the students showed the process, muscle memory, defense, offense, everything that made their Karate style so theirs. Then went on to show the generations that reached their style, the history behind everything they knew and were gonna learn. They showed them the balance they had, the coordination, their methods to train, everything they did that made them the fighters that they were
Then the moved to the Eagle fang side of their training, they went to the warehouse Johnny used to train his student at, where things were very much different from the feeling in Miyagi-do, the offensive style of Johnny was teached in a more...unorthodox way but that showed to be very effective, the students like Sam, Miguel, Eli and Halley who had trained with Johnny there were the ones in charge of showing that. Everything was going well until Sam out a little too much emotion in her kick and it ended up all over one of the men in suits that were revising the dojos, gasped were heard and there was silence, everyone just waiting to see the reactions
"Uh, hey, look, man, I'm sure this probably all seems weird to you, but sometimes you have to train outside the box to get to another level. Some people use the latest high-tech junk to get there, and some people need to run up a mountain in the snow and yell" Johnny was quick to explain
"Drago!" The man yelled suddenly, scaring everyone "Rocky Balboa is my hero"
"No, shit! Mine too" Johnny being Johnny for once was being helpful
"His victory in Russia effectively restored my fractured homeland"
"You get it" Johnny nodded
"I do. Show me more" he said and they could all see Daniel sigh in relief after the crisis was averted

"I cannot believe they're making us fight again" Halley complained
"Yeah, at least we have another time to prove we're better" Sam pointed out
"Speaking about that, you know they're gonna choose Tory as their female fighter, right?" Sam nodded, because, really, there was no doubt in that, she was unquestionably the best fighter they had, not to mention the current All Valley winnet "I think you should be the one to go against her" Halley said, they had agreed to flip a coin for it, but, if there was someone that needed the re-do was Sam, she needed to prove to herself that she could go against Tory and win
"That's not fair for you" Sam shook her head
"But it is. I'm telling you, you should do it and we both know it will mean more to you than it will for me" it was true, Halley had nothing to prove against Tory, it was not her fight, it was Sam's
"Thank you" Sam hugged her cousin tightly
"Now go, you need to train" Daniel was waiting for her as Halley had informed him of what she was planning to do "You've got this, Sam" those were her last words before leaving the dojo to go eat pizza

Night came along, Halley and Eli made their way to her house after Johnny and him finished training. They were already in bed and ready to go to sleep, half of Halley's body on top of her boyfriend's, her face buried in his neck and her hands in his hair. She ran her hands through it when suddenly an idea came to her mind
"Hey! your hair is growing back" she lifted her head to look him in the eye "would you ever think about going back to the coloured mohawk?"
"Maybe" he thought about it for a second "I'd actually love that" he nodded and then properly looked at his girlfriend in the eyes, recognizing the look in her face "You have and idea" he stated
"I do" she pushed up so she was now supported by her hands, still looking down on him "I have bleach from when Sam and I went through out blonde phases back in out freshman year"
"I remember that" he laughed remembering how one say out of nowhere Sam and Halleya appeared in school with light blonde hair they had bleached themselves in their bathroom
"Yeah, it was awful, I know" she rolled her eyes "The point is, I have that and I'm pretty sure there's still dye from when that same year when we decided we wanted green money pieces" Eli had once again a laugh remembering 15 year old Halley with green hair "Stop laughing" she hit him playfully "We were going through something"
"Oh, I can imagine" he nodded still laughing
"Shut up. Are you gonna let me dye your hair or not?"
"I'm not sure I trust you to much with bleach and dye" he shook his head squinting his eyes
"I make a great hair stylist, thank you very much"
"Fuck it. Let's do it" Halley cheered and jumped from the bed followed by Eli, both straight to the bathroom
