Miguel throwing a party at his house sounded like an amazing idea for everyone but himself and Halley knew her thought was right when she saw the boy picking up after everyone he could as the party went on. Halley had lost sight of her boyfriend during her time at the party and was currently dancing around with a drink in her hand and the moon right next to her.
Halley hear the unmistakable sounds of grunting from a fight, and they sounded awfully familiar, she stopped her dancing and turned to look around, and for a few seconds all she could see were the bunch of teens dancing around her, but something else caught her eye that had her immediately rushing through the bodies in the place, it seemed that not only the brunette had been alerted by the fight as seconds before Halley could get to Tory and Sam, Miguel and Robby had already ditched them
"She's been working with Kreese this whole time!" Sam said hysterically to Miguel
"What?" Robby looked at the blonde with his eyebrows furrowed
"Why did you only come forward now? Huh? Because you're a coward" Tory was clearly feeling many emotions if the look on her face was any indication, Sam on the other hand was feeling pure rage
"Screw you, LaRusso" Tory's voice was softer compared to Sam, it was clear she didn't come to fight in the first place "I knew this was a mistake" Tory rushed out of the place, but to do that she had to walk past Halley, at the sight of the other LaRusso cousin the blonde stopped and Halley saw as she considered something for a second "You were right, LaRusso" the tone while saying the same last name was vastly different "In the end, we are all are just a bunch of cheating assholes" she repeated the same words Halley once told her and then the girl just brushed past the brunette and out of the complex.
Halley continued to stand there without knowing exactly what had happened, and when she looked where Sam had been she found that her cousin had also left, Robby, Miguel and Halley all looked at each other, one just as confused, if not more, than the other

When Sam told everyone what her fight with Tory was about they were all very surprised, to say the least
"That's actually insane" Halley shook her head, her mouth almost hanging open
"W-w-wait, so sensei Targaryen paid off the ref at the All Valley and framed Kreese for a crime he didn't commit?" Demetri was the most shooked of them all "Never let me miss a house party again" he asked Halley and Eli
"We need to tell the senseis" Miguel suggested
"What are they gonna do? We all saw what happened to my dad when he tried to confront. Silver. I don't want him getting hurt like that again"
"Besides if this ref and stingray are on Silver's payroll, they'll never admit anything" Demetri sighed
"I'm not so sure about that." Bertspoke up for the first time since the conversation started and he had the attention of the older teens all on him "I know he's in Cobra Kai and I'm Eagle Fang, but Stingray's still my friend. He wouldn't lie to me. At least I hope he wouldn't"
"Do you think you can get him to talk?" Eli asked and Bert nodded
"Find out where he lives" Halley said and the four boys were immediately on the move "Are you okay" the brunette asked her cousin once they were just them left
"I will be'' Sam sighed "I'm still processing. There was a lot of information for one night" Sam shrugged and Halley nodded understandingly "I saw Miguel kissing someone else" Halley's eyebrows shoot up in surprise as that was the last thing she expected coming from her cousin's mouth "At the party" she finished
"Who?" that didn't matter, and Halley knew that but she didn't know what else to say, she was caught completely off guard
"I don't know. Some random girl at the party" Sam shrugged once again and looked down to try and hide her emotions "I wanted to talk to him, because I found this at the dojo" Sam pulled a gold chain out of her pocket with an octopus hanging from it "I know it's from him, because who else would buy this?" Sam sniffled and put it back where it was
"Do you want to go back to being together?" Halley asked sympathetically
"I wanted to make things better, my mind is back into place and I can now focus on what's important, I just needed a moment to regain my footing and find myself" Halley really wanted to confort Sam and maybe even call Miguel some names for kissing someone else, but the truth was, Miguel was in all of his right to do that and if Sam was in his place she would've probably cheered her on along with Moon and Yasmine. Sam's feelings were her own fault and Miguel, even if the cause of them, was not at fault for Sam's teary eyes
"You still can talk to him" Halley squeezed her shoulder reassuringly "He kissed someone at a party, so what? It was some random girl he probably won't see ever again. He bought you a necklace that he knew you would like, not because it looks expensive but because of the octopus you both view as your 'relationship mascot' he bought it because it holds meaning. He clearly cares about you and I'm sure if you talk to him, he'll understand" Halley hugged her slightly shorter cousin for a few seconds before leaving the hug and holding her at arms-length by the shoulders "But make sure this is what you really want, if you're not 100% sure then don't even try it because you'll only end up hurting yourself and him"
