"Are you kidding me with this bullshit again?" Eli sat up once again when not even ten minutes later there was fighting again "And there's Keene. I thought you said he wasn't in Cobra Kai anymore" he looked at Miguel
"It's what sense told me" Miguel excused himself
"Come one" Once again Eli was off to where the fight was going on, this time with Miguel right behind him
"Not my circus, not my monkeys" There was no miyagi-do anymore and she was supposed to focus on herself and not get involved in trouble so Halley just lowered her sunglasses and laid back down in her chair, but her eyes never left the figure of her boyfriend, checking up on him.
Turns out, there was nothing to be worried about because apparently they were solving things with a water slide race which was childish in Halley's eyes but if that was gonna stop them from fighting then it was whatever. But in a turn of events, because apparently nothing is ever easy like that in their lives, the race picked up another fight between Kenny and Eli.
Kenny was the first one to swing at the older boy, Eli saw it coming from a mile away and moved before it made contact with his face. Halley now was sitting up fully in her chair, sunglasses up holding her hair back. Then Kenny continued, Eli barely making any effort to block the hits coming his way before the younger boy actually managed to hit him in the face and he then got mad.
Robby, seeing Kenny was about to get himself in a fight he was not gonna be able to be the winner of, intervened and pushed Eli in the pool behind him and now Miguel also got involved
"This is ridiculous, they're fighting over water slides" Halley sighed
"Men" Yasmine rolled her eyes beside Halley. Thankfully, before things escalate the lifeguard stopped whatever fight was about to break out and kicked everyone out of the park

"You guys are really unbelievable" Halley said as she dried her hair with a towel sitting in front of her vanity mirror. After being kicked out of the pool, Halley and Eli went to her house but the girl was silent the whole car ride and just after she got out of the shower was when she started talking "You were really fighting for water slides in a park?"
"They're assholes, okay?" Eli huffed sitting on her bed, already dry from his shower as he had gone first
"That is not an excuse" she shook her head
"Listen, Halls, they started it, you saw it. Payne was the one who threw the first punch" he tried justifying himself
"He's, what, like thirteen? You are not seriously telling me you are lowering to the level of a kid who hasn't started High School yet" she looked at him incredulously "And regardless, you can't tell me you weren't instigating it as well"
"Sorry" he finally sighed
"You don't need to apologize" the brunette finally let go of her towel and turned to look him in the eye "I get what you were trying to do, and I also get they are annoying as hell" Eli laughed shortly "But they're also very aggressive and they travel in big groups, if there's one thing I learned from all of these months of Karate war is that maybe fighting them outside of the mat is not the smartest idea"
"Okay" he smiled and walked up to her "I'll stop fighting thirteen year old Cobra Kais off the mat" he joked and wrapped his arms around her neck, in a hug, she let her face rest in his tummy
"Thank you" she joked back. Even if he said it as a joke, she knew he had taken her seriously, so there was really nothing else to discuss

"What do you mean, where are you?" Halley asked as she moved through her kitchen trying to find something to eat she didn't have to prepare
"Mom's hometown" Sam answered with a sigh "Out of nowhere she told us to pack our things and left, I think her and dad got in a fight or something"
"Did she tell you about what?"
"Nope"
"I'm sure they'll make up, they always do" Halley reassured "For now enjoy your time there, maybe this will be good for you too, to get out of this place and clear your head"
"Yeah, maybe you're right"
"Sam, Anthony, let's go!" Halley hear Amanda's voice in the background of the call
"Gotta go now. I'll call you later" Sam said as she could hear her getting up from wherever she was sitting
"Sure, bye sammy" the call ended and Halley had settled in a bag of chips that had been in the cupboard for way too long, but she couldn't be bothered to make herself something for lunch

This was a short chapter, I know, in my defense, I'm already halfway through the season and I've only written five chapters for the book, this is already gonna be a shorter season compared to the other and I don't want to make it even shorter by making long ass chapters
