"There's a lot of people out here already" Chris said as they walked into the party
"Yeah, I guess Moon must have invited other kids from school" Sam said
"More like every single kid in school" Halley said looking around
"I only brought Trivial Pursuit. If I'd known there'd be this many people, I would've brought Balderdash" Demetri complained. Their small smiles dropped when they walked into the house and the first people they saw were the Cobra Kai's all sitting in a couch
"Of course" Halley rolled her eyes with a sarcastic smile. Immediately the tensions rose, every single one of them had beef with at least one of the other dojo and then to make things worse Tory and Miguel walked in with smiles in their faces that disappeared as soon as they saw the situation
"Sam!" Moon interrupted the staring contest "I'm so glad you came. You too Halley" the girl gave warm smiles to the two cousins and to the whole group "The kegs are out back, drinks are in the kitchen, and the vegan pigs in a blanket just got out of the oven"
"Moon, you never said anything about inviting Cobra kai" Sam almost murmured
"Well, I figured with summer ending and school starting back up, we could stop all the fighting and be friends again" It was clear Moon had good intentions but Halley doubted that happening ever, much less tonight
"It's wishful thinking." Sam shortly said
"Sam, trust me" Moon nodded "Get rid of all this negative energy. Clear your chakras and have some fun" Halley decided to take on Moon's advice
"She's kinda right" Halley whispered to Sam "That's what we're here for, aren't we?" the girls smiled at Robby and Halley pulled Demetri with her, she would be damned if she was gonna wander around on her own in a party full of people that hated her, Demetri may not be the best fighter but at least he was a somewhat good moral support and him walking around that house without backup wasn't the best idea either
"What even is this?" Demetri said as he smelled one of the bottles in the kitchen counter
"Does it matter?" Halley grabbed it from him and poured it in two cups "Just drink" she shoved it in his face
"We are so gonna die today" Demetri murmured grabbing the cup, the girl pretending not to hear him

'Great' Halley thought, looking around. It wasn't even an hour into the party and she had already lost Demetri and now was just standing against a wall sipping her cup with unknown alcohol.
The party was going somewhat okay, and by that it means there were no physical fights happening and that was good enough for everyone there. But apparently there were some people that just couldn't have a nice night and had to ruin it for others
"Well, look who I found" When she heard the annoying voice of Angela she wanted to plug her eyes out just to avoid the conversation, unfortunately she was too slow because a second later the blonde was stood in front of her with a smirk
"Jesus" Halley whispered looking down and then back up staring right into the other girl's eyes "Don't you have someone else to bother, like your boyfriend for example?" the drink the brunette had in her hands wasn't the first one and her previous annoyment with the blonde wasn't helping the situation
"That's actually who I wanted to talk about" Halley rolled her eyes at Angela's words, the last thing she wanted to do was talk about her ex-boyfriend, the reason she was at that party in the first place was to ignore his existence for at least a few hours
"Good luck finding someone who wants to hear" The LaRusso girl was gonna walk past the blonde but was stopped by Angela grabbing her shoulders and shoving her back into the wall, knocking the air out of her lungs for a few seconds
"No, you're gonna stay here and listen to what I have to say" who did she thought she was, Halley didn't know but for the sake of not causing Moon's house to be destroyed by a fight she stayed put "The way you were looking at him earlier, I didn't like it"
"What the hell are you talking about?" It was taking all in her to keep from throwing the remains of her drink in Angela's face
"When you came in with your little friends" the blonde waved her hand around "You were basically throwing yourself at him with that look" it was clear to Halley that Angela had a severe jealousy problem, and she wanted to feel sorry for Hawk for having to deal with her, but then again, he was an asshole so it was deserved
"You mean when I was glaring at him" she gave the blonde and incredulous look
"Just keep your eyes away from him" Angela's hands were still in Halley's shoulders and with every word she tightened her hold even more
"Don't worry. Been there done that, he's all yours" The brunette rolled her eyes. Angela laughed sarcastically
"Come on, you're not fooling anyone with that" now it was the blonde's turn to roll her eyes "We all know that if he were to come up to you and ask for another chance you would forgive him immediately. He's got you on the palm of his hand and you're his little bitch" if Halley wasn't fed up with her before she sure as hell was now.
Halley grabbed the blonde's wrists and wrapped one of her legs around hers so she could flip positions. Now Angela was the one against the wall with Halley's hands on her shoulders, applying just the same pressure the blonde had on her
"Call me that one more time and see what happens" she gripped even tighter "Also, I wouldn't be talking if I were you because I'm sure as hell not the one that follows him around like a lost puppy" she made sure to get her point across by slamming the girl against the wall one more time "Stay away from me"
And with that Halley walked away as fast as she could to go get herself another drink as she had dropped the one she had when she slammed Angela against the wall

Damn, this chapter was definitely a good one. I feel very proud tbh. Also, I know it's been like a month since the last update, but I'm a profesional procastinator, I always say I'm gonna be more consistent with I'm updates and that literally never happens, so I'm not gonna say that, I gues you'll get chapters when you get them because I suck at sticking to a schedule
