Even if Tory didn't win the fight, she got a healthy amount of points for Cobra Kai closing in to the Iron Dragons and then it was just up to Miguel to finish the job against Axel
"And now... our final match of this year's Sekai Taikai!" It seemed that people couldn't stop cheering that afternoon "Representing the Iron Dragons, Axel Kovačević! And representing Cobra Kai, Miguel Diaz" They all cheered for him
"Would the fighters please come to the mat" they stood in front of each other "Good luck to both of you"
"Let's go, Miguel!" Halley couldn't lie, she was scared for her friend, after what Axel did to Robby it didn't feel right that he was allowed to continue. She leaned back into her boyfriend's front his arms around her shoulders, he wasn't saying it but she knew he was also nervous fro Miguel, at that moment they were providing silent comfort to each other
"Fighters, face me. Bow. Face each other. Bow. Fighting stances" Miguel looked focused and powerful and in Halley's eyes, Axel just looked scary "Fight!" and quickly it was Miguel who got the first hit in "Point!"
"Yeah, Miguel!" Miguel was relentless
"Point!" It made everyone supporting him jump in excitement. Miguel was setting the pace of the fight, Halley smiled at the scene, he was on the upper hand. Punch "Point!" kick "Point!" he was on fire, Halley was jumping up and down still in the embrace of her boyfriend, both of them clapping loudly. Axel was fighting angry, Miguel wasn't "Point!"
"Let's go!!"
"Hell yeah!" the couple cheered along with everyone as the horn blared "He's so gonna win this" Eli nodded
"He is" Halley agreed, Cheers erupted when they made their way back to the mat. Axel seemed to come back more aggressive, if that was even possible
"Point!" he was a little bit too harsh with the kick he gave Miguel and he didn't stop, he scored two in a row in a matter of seconds "Point! Point!" and one last one in the face "Point" Axel was relentless, whatever his sensei told him seemed to work pretty well for him "That's another point" that put them even on points and Axel charged towards Miguel kicking him with a force that sent him to the floor and knocked his captain headband off, a collective gasp spread through the arena, Halley took her hands to her mouth "Knock down! then points"
"Motherfucker" Halley heard Eli behind her as he shook his head
"Damn it" Halley sighed. Axel was about to finish Miguel when he was saved by the horn that finished the round. Everyone watched as Miguel approached Johnny, they all knew the kind of person the blonde was, he had many defects but he was also surprisingly good at speeches to motivate his students and they could only hope that for one last time he would work his magic. Johnny untied his black headband and tied it around Miguel's head as a finish statement of his words and from afar they could see the demeanor change on Miguel and somehow they knew he had it under control
