"Please, do not tell me that's who I think it was" Sam walked from behind Halley

"It unfortunately was" Halley sighed and turned around to find a sympathetic Sam and Robby looking confused "I'm all right" Halley said at her cousins stare

"I'm a little confused" Robby chimed in "Who was that?" Sam looked at Halley for permission and when the brunette nodded Sam explained

"That was Eric West. Halls' ex-boyfriend"

"I'm guessing it didn't turned out well"

"No, it most definitely didn't" the lights of the stage turned on and they knew it was almost time for their presentation "Let's go. We should practice one more time" And without another word Halley walked away, Sam and Robby following close behind.

Seeing Eric for the first time on a long while had left Halley on edge, wich made her even more uneasy than she was before, she really didn't want to mess anything up and now with the thought of her ex-boyfriend in the public she knew she wasn't gonna be focused as she should be

Turns out, at the end Halley had nothing to worry about, not because their demonstration had gone without any complications from their part but because they didn't even have to finish it. Mid presentation they were interrupted by the Cobras all strutting in, proud of what they had just done.

The first thing Halley did was look for the blue hair of her boyfriend, she was disappointed on him and he wasn't looking at her so she couldn't show him her rage with the angriest glare that she got, that didn't stop her from staring at him with a scowl on her face. She supposed he'll have to figure out she's mad through the fact that she plans on ignoring him until he realizes what he did.

Halley didn't even bothered watching the whole show, she just walked away, her head filled with thoughts, while walking she remembered something her mom had told her

'Are you sure Eli's good for you?'

One day Christine LaRusso had approached her daughter to express her concern. The woman was genuinely worried about her kid, she knew Eli and she knew he was a good kid, but after seeing changes in the boy she just couldn't help but be worried

'What are you talking about?'

Halley had immediately gone into defensive mode. It was the after the tournament and she had been questioned about her relationship with Eli way to many times, even though they weren't on the best terms, she still felt the need to protect him

'He just seems different. Angry... Aggressive'

The woman hesitated while saying that. She knew how protective Halley was over Eli, she always had been and Christine know that no matter how she said it, her daughter was not gonna take it well

'I've got no idea what you're talking about, mom'

Halley decided to play dumb, she realised that things were just better off when she just pretended she didn't know or avoided them

'I'm just worried about you, Hally. You know I like Eli, but I'm just worried he'll hurt you'

That was a mother speaking from her heart. That was a mother not wanting to see her child get hurt over a boy. Unfortunately Halley was just too blinded to see that at the moment

'He'll never hurt me, mom. Sure, he's changed a little but he would never. You just don't know him like I do'

BOOM

It hit Halley like a truck, that phrase. That last phrase hit her so hard she had to stop walking, she forgot where she was going or even where she was, all of her memoris clouded by that one moment. That one comment she had made to Miguel, it was just a joke back then but it might not be a joke anymore

"Yeah, but he's not that bad of a guy. You gotta give him a chance. You don't know him like I do"

"That's....that's hooker talk"

"That sounds like when you wanna justify a toxic relationship" Miguel rolled his eyes at Dem's and Hall's comments

Halley LaRusso refused to accept that her sweet boyfriend had turned into an asshole, she never had to deal with something like that. Yeah, sure she had dealt with asswhole's in the past, her ex-boyfriend being the greatest example but Eli Moskowitz wasn't always an asshole.

She had seen him transition from this sweet boy to what she knew was a bully. He had turned into the kind of people she swore she would protect him from and she simply didn't know what to do with that information other than sprint to get into her car and drive as fast as she could to get home so she could bawl her eyes out in peace

Halley had been sulking on her bed the whole night, she cried her eyes out and then just felt numbness. Her parents had just gone on another business trip so no one was there to notice when she came home in distress at night. That was something she was grateful for, she didn't want pitiful looks or words of encouragement, she just wanted to fall face first into her very fluffy mattress and cry.

The plan for the day had been the same as the whole night, just sulk and maybe eat a full tub of ice cream, however her plans changed when a beaten up Demetri appeared at her doorstep

"You look like shit" was the first thing he said. And she didn't doubt he was right, she could just feel her smudge mascara and her very prominent eye bags. He didn't look any better though

"Yeah, you're one to talk" Demetri snorted and Halley moved out of the way so he could come into her house.

10 minutes later he's pacing back and forth in her room explaining why his face was in the state he was, Halley was once again buried on her blankets but she was listening to him very carefully, a frown present on her face. After he finished his rant, Demetri sat down on the bed and continued to ask why she looked like crap. In the end both of their rants concluded in one clear thing

Cobra Kai sucked ass

"You should try Miyagi-Do. I feel you'll like it" She knew that Demetri wasn't the sporty type but she truly believed that if he tried he would fit just fine at the Dojo.

She really wanted to help Demetri out, he had been her friend since they were basically in diapers and lately she hadn't been too good of a friend to him, so she wanted to fix that.

Hello, hello

As you can see, things are getting a little too complicated here, hope you like it, i actually really did which is kinda weird lately so I feel pretty good about this one
