Halley expected to wake up the next morning still slightly sore from the day before and having to stretch it off as soon as she woke up, but instead she woke up with the anticipation of the day already in her body, the soreness she expected nowhere to be found and the whole morning was a blur until she made it to the dojo and had her gi on.

Halley and Sam were ready, both standing on opposite sides of the deck but Tory was nowhere to be found, Robby had told Halley earlier that she hadn't been answering his calls so the brunette approached Angela

"Hey, you have any idea where Tory is?" Halley knew they were close but sighed then the blonde shook her head with a frown

"I have no idea, I've been texting her but they're all left in delivered"

"Miguel, Robby, you're up first" Daniel interrupted both girl's trains of thought. Both boys went up to the deck and bowed to Daniel before going to their starting positions "Alright first to three points wins. Face each other. Bow" it had been a while since Halley heard that "Fighting positions. Ready. Fight!" There was only a couple seconds of hesitations before moves started being done, Miguel managed to make Robby fall and scored his first point "Point, Diaz" they stood back up "One point, Diaz. Zero points, Keene. Ready? Fight" Robby was the first one to attack clearly eager to get his first point to take Miguel out of the lead but Miguel was getting to him more and kicked Robby sending him to the ground again "Point, Diaz. Two points. One more and he wins" Daniel reminded as Robby was getting himself off the floor "Ready?Fight" this time it was Miguel striking first but now Robby was defending better and suddenly something had shifted in Robby compared to both previous rounds because easily he punched Miguel in the chest sending him to the ground this time "Point, Keene"

"Tory, hey" Halley felt a new presence besides her turning to find the missing blonde but looking at her better she saw her red rimmed eyes and the eye bags under them "Everything okay?" the girl simply nodded with an empty look, clearly not paying much attention to her, Tory's eyes refused to move from the two currently fighting

"Ready?. Fight" Once again Miguel was the first one to attack but Robby moved out of the way from every single one and landed a kick on Miguel, one that would usually take a second for one to recover but Miguel was quickly back on his feet "Alight. Two to Two. Next point wins. Ready? Fight" Robby was fighting with a confidence Halley could feel even from where she was standing and ultimately it was him who threw Miguel into the ground and got his last point the same way the other fighter got his first "Point. Winner" Halley clapped along with the others, she knew they both deserved that chance equally, they were both amazing fighters. Daniel stood with each fighter to his sides "Your male captain. Robby Keene" he lifted his arm in the air, once again receiving claps and cheers from everyone

"LaRusso. Nichols" Johnny called up Sam and Tory for their fight "Alright. Bow to me" Johnny said when they both were in their starting spots "Bow to each other" Halley could see both of their expressions, Sam's small smile didn't match Tory's face, she didn't know what had happened but she didn't look okay. Sam went for a fist bump that Tory hesitated to return "Fighting positions. Ready? Fight" Tory went full offence but it was Sam who landed the first point "Point, LaRusso" Halley smiled slightly nodding to her cousin encouragingly. Tory quickly got up "Fighting positions. Ready" but Johnny couldn't finish as Tory was already throwing herself towards Sam, her movements too aggressive, a similar rage to when she was on the other side, Halley frowned concerned. Tory got a point kicking Sam's face and then still kick her on the chest
