Halley Larusso had the perfect life, amazing friends, loving family, good grades and money, what else could she ask for? Well, that's easy to answer:

Because nothing could be normal and peaceful in their life for long periods of time things had gone to hit faster than Halley expected. Sam came back to the valley only to find her dad beaten up by Silver, apparently Anthony was being bullied and Johnny wanted to fight against Silver and Cobra Kai.
"Why can't we just have a normal six months, that's all I'm asking" Halley mumbled so only Sam could hear, both of them eating cereal and listened as Johnny, Amanda and Chozen had a meeting in the kitchen concerning Terry Silver
"It's been a week, the longer we wait-" The blonde pan started to protest but was interrupted by Chozen
"We must let Daniel-san heal"
"Look, Chozen's right" Amanda agreed "I wanna do something too, but we can't just go after Terry Silver withou-"
"Dad!" Sam interrupted her mom and alerted everyone of Daniel's presence
"Johnny, what are you doing here?"
"Figuring out how to make Silver pay for what he did to you" he said it nonchalantly but it was obvious that he cared, or else he wouldn't be there
"What's with the suit?" Amanda asked as her husband was all dressed up
"I can't wear my pajamas to LaRusso Auto, can I?"
"You're going into work?"
"Daniel-san, we need to make plans-" Chozen tried to talk
"Guys, I appreciate the sentiment. I do. But I'm out of this whole thing with Silver. If he wants the Valley, he can have it" that was a defeated man if Halley had ever seen one "I'm done with karate" she had heard that one from herself before, clearly, she didn't stick to it because there she was
"What do you mean you're done with Karate?" Johnny asked
"Must not give up" Chozen tried convincing
"I am giving up" they all could see there was not convincing Daniel "Trying to go toe-to-toe with Silver was a mistake. It almost cost me my family. I'm not making that mistake again"
"Daniel, we're with you" Amanda spoke up "You don't have to stop fighting"
"Yes, I do. I become a sensei to help kids. Instead I'm making everyone's life worse"
"What are you talking about? You did help kids" Johnny said
"Want me to make a list of how many ways they're hurting because of me?" he looked at both brunettes standing besides him "Including my own daughter and niece? Why don't you ask Robby how much I've helped him" Finally Johnny deflated, giving up on getting Daniel in the fight again "You know, growing up, I never understood why Mr. Miyagi walked away from a fight. But I understand it now. it's not our job to the masters of the world. Nor anymore" he put his sunglasses on and limped out of the house. Halley and Sam looked at each other in question, both pair of eyes reflecting the same doubt:
'And now what?'

That's what Halley thought when she was scrolling through instagram and the announcement of Silver taking over another Dojo popped up
"He'll come around, he just needs more time" Amanda said hopefully about the Daniel situation. Halley nudged Sam to show her what she had found and Sam turned her phone to show her another announcement of Silver taking management of a different dojo
"Do not have much time" Chozen shook his head "Silver's empire growing every day"
"Sure, but, I mean, the Valley only has so many kids. How many new dojos can he possibly open?"
"He's not just opening new ones" In response to Amanda's question Sam and Halley turned their phones in the direction of the adults
"He's taking over other dojos too" Halley said
"I'm here at Topanga Karate" the video on Sam's phone started playing and Silver's voice was heard in the living room"Welcoming them into our Cobra Kai family"
"When did this happen?" Johnny was now standing
"It's live, it's happening now" Sam explained
"Perfect, I'm gonna go down there and beat his ponytail ass" he said simply
"Sure, because jumping him without a plan is a great idea" Halley mocked receiving a glare from Johnny
"You can't you march down there like a one-man army" Amanda agreed
"The hell I can't. Guy's whole MO is hiding in the dark, waiting for us to fall into his traps. Right now, we know where he is. He's not on his home turf"
"Chozen, please say something to him" Amanda turned to the older man
"Amanda-san is right" Chozen sighed and got up after Johnny "One-man army, not good"
"Thank you" Amanda sighed in relief
"I come with you" he added
"That's not what I meant" the woman shook her head
"You know this isn't some kata competition, right?" Johnny asked
"Hai"
"Is that a yes?" Johnny's lack of knowledge had always amused Halley to no end and if they were in another situation she would be laughing her ass off at his expense. CHozen simply sighed and grabbed his coat before walking away, Johnny following closely
"Every day that passes I'm more and more convinced that men are the dumbest creatures on earth" between the adults getting in unnecessary fights and the teens getting in unnecessary fight Halley didn't know wich of the to groups was the stupidest
"I don't understand how this is gonna help dad, at all?" Sam aske just as frustrated as the two other woman in the room
"It's not" Halley answered shortly
"At this point, I'm not sure what will" in Amanda's voice was shown how tired she also was, the stupid karate war had everyone in their nerves and they needed to find a way to make it stop

Hello, hello
A little bit of a boring chapter but I felt like this part was important for the story and for the LaRusso family so after a few minutes of consideration I decided to write a full chapter just with this so I can get it over with. Sorry about the long wait, I've been busy with school and in the bright side, I graduate in two months, and on the dim side, I start university so I'm gonna be even bussier (someone kill me now please, why can't I just wake up one day and be rich af😭)
