Halley Larusso had the perfect life, amazing friends, loving family, good grades and money, what else could she ask for? Well, that's easy to answer:

Halley's hands shook as she pushed the doors of the arcade open, she took a deep breath as she looked around looking for any signs of her cousin or any of the miyagi-do's, and when she saw them all standing together she considered running around but even knowing she'd regret it later she still walked towards them
"Halley, you came" Sam was the first one to notice here
"Yeah" she murmured in her mind following with a 'still not sure why' .Demetri sent her a small smile
"Where are they?" Sam asked Chris
"They snuck into the old laser tag place next door"
"How many?" she asked once more
"Five of 'em"
"Six of us. I like our odds" Sam said determined
"Are you sure we should be doing this?" Demetri asked unsure, Halley was glad she wasn't the only one that didn't like the plan
"We are not on school property. This is our chance to fight back" And she made her way forward, all of the rest following her
"Here we go again" Halley sighed wondering how she even got to that point. Sam turned down the light of the place as they all walked in
"What do you want?" Hawk aske annoyed when he saw them walk in
"Payback" Sam answered glaring at him and launched at the first cobra kai in her way, the others immediately attacking back. Halley already felt the adrenaline running to her veins and all of the prior fear disappeared.
She raised her right leg, impacting one of the guys, pushing him towards a wall. He tried to punch her but she blocked it and threw one of her own landing right in his jaw. Halley moved out of the way right in time to avoid one of the Cobra's from tackling her, instead he impacted on his friend, landing right on top of him.
One of them stood up, the other stayed down. He threw a high kick and Halley ducked and threw one of her one to his one leg giving him balance throwing him to the floor again and ended him with one last kick to make sure he wasn't gonna get up again
"Sam LaRusso..." Tory's voice echoed in the whole place"Where are you, bitch?" Halley looked around trying to locate where the voice was coming from, immediately making her way towards there as she knew for sure Tory didn't arrive alone and she was damn right about that, she came face to face with Tory and other three Cobra's.
Her eyes fell on the other girl of the group. Angela Armani was staring at her right in the eye. The two girls looked at each other and then Back at the brunette
"She's mine" Angela said and the others walked away to find someone to fight "Seems like someone didn't learn her lesson" she smirked and Halley was surprised with herself, she thought when the moment came down she would be terrified of Angela and she would just be able to run away, but she didn't feel like hiding then, she felt like merging Angela's face with a wall
Halley didn't answer, she really couldn't, her mind was going way too fast with all of the ways she wanted to hurt the blonde in front of her to form a coherent phrase. After a few seconds of them staring the other down Angela decided it was enough and threw the first punch, Halley saw it coming from a mile away and moved out of the way, then she saw how she was getting ready to throw a kick and she wondered how she ever lost to her, her moves were so predictable even a beginner would be able to tell what she was about to do.
Halley caught Angela's leg that was aimed at her ribs, she twisted it making her body lose balance and fall to the floor, the brunette right on top of her pinning her down with her legs and arm raised in a tightly balled fist.
The school fight flashed before her eyes, the way she didn't hold back on her at any point, not even when she was defeated on the floor and wasn't able to breath properly, why would she have any mercy on someone who didn't have it on her and she found herself thinking exactly like the Cobra Kai's and she felt disgusted at that.
Angela saw the second hesitation in Halley's face, and she used it to her favor. The blonde raised her hips from the floor and flipped them over so she was on top and maneuvered so Halley was face down into the cold floor.
And then as she was about to try and fight back her eyes fell on Demetri, who was also pinned down on the floor, face down and Hawk being the one restraining him, he had one of his arms pulled back just in the right position to break it if he wanted to.
"No! Please, stop! Eli, stop! stop!" Demetri begged and Halley started trashing in Angela's hold
"Let go of me!" she screamed to no avail because Angela's grip only tightened
"It 's me! Don't do it! No! Help me!" he looked straight to Halley that wanted nothing but to be able to kick the shit out of everyone in the room
"Do it! Finish him!"
"He deserves it" Hawk's friends started to encourage him
"Please don't do it! Hawk! Leave him alone" Halley pleaded and he barely even looked at her before he finally snapped Demetri's arm and they all cheered. Halley flinched and closed her eyes as her best friend's screams filled her ears. She heard them all leaving the room
Halley couldn't believe it, he had really done it, the Eli she once knew was nowhere to be found, he became a monster in her eyes the second he snapped her best friend's arm in half and barely even blinked after it. Halley wasn't sure what was in Cobra Kai but it chaged you, it corrupted you to the core and turned you into the worst possible version of yourself in a way that when you looked back you couldn't even recognize yourself and those arround you who knew you prior to the swich took a step back at the sight of you because of the fear
"This isn't the end, bitch" Angela whispered in her ear before letting go of her, and Halley couldn't care less about her at the moment, as soon as she was free she crawled to Demetri
"Fuck" she avoided looking at his arm and instead put one of her hands in his shoulder "We need to get him to the hospital" she looked around at her friends and her eyes landed on Sam "Sam! We need to take him out of here, let's go!" her cousin was obviously distressed but Demetri was number one priority "It will be okay, Dem" she tried to reassure but wasn't too sure he heard her over his pain.
She knew it wasn't gonna end well but whatever that was went out of control in proportions she could never have imagined. After every fight she was hit with the realization of how real everything was and now after what they had done to Demetri there was not going back in this seemly never ending fight

Well, I don't really know what to think about this chapter, I'm not sure if I like it so I'll let you be the judge.
Also, there's something I wanna explain. Halley and Sam have very different trauma responses, in the aftermath of the School fight Sam wanted revenge, she was angry but when she was about to get it she panicked, Halley on the other side was scared at first, she wanted nothing to do with karate due to fear but when it came down to it all of that fear turned into anger.
That shows two common responses in actual real life, because truly, you never know how you're gonna react in those type of situations, specially after trauma
