Halley Larusso had the perfect life, amazing friends, loving family, good grades and money, what else could she ask for? Well, that's easy to answer:

Turns out fixing the dojo was harder than expected. Everything was going alright until Daniel assigned them the duty of lifting a big rock back into it's place, but no matter how much strength the four of them used, the rock didn't move an inch.
"Are you guys lifting? Because I feel like I'm doing nothing here" Demetri rested his hands on his knees
"Forget it, alright. It's too heavy. We're gonna need a forklift" Robby shook his head
"How did they even knock it over?" sam asked
"Maybe they should be the ones picking it back up if they're so strong" Halley said sitting on the grass
"It's a lot easier to knock something down than it is to lift it up" Daniel told them from his place fixing the plants "Don't worry. We'll get it up again"
"Uh...excuse me" they heard a voice calling from the entrance, they all turned around, not expecting anyone coming "Is this Miyagi-do?"
"Oh, look. Turns out maybe the Cobra's actually came to pick this up" Halley murmured sarcastically while Sam and Robby looked at each other
"Yeah" Daniel answered to the boy. Robby walked forward angrily
"Come back for another beating?"
"Hey, Robby" Daniel stopped him "Robby!"
"This is one of the guys who was beating on Demetri" he pointed at the biggest of them "Probably helped trashed the dojo"
"We didn't have anything to do with that" the boy shook his head
"Give us one reason to believe that" Halley said now standing
"I'm sorry about what happened at the mall" he kept talking looking at Demetri "We just wanna learn Miyagi-do Karate"
"I'd be careful with this Mr. L, letting the Cobra Kais into Miyagi-Do" Demetri warned "It's like letting the wildings behind the Wall"
"Didn't the wildlings help Jon Snow win the Battle of the Bastards?"
"Should've picked a different analogy" Demetri mumbled in realization. Honestly Halley didn't think anyone understood what was going on, she herself didn't.
"We're happy to have you" Daniel smiled to the Cobras "Nice to meet you" he shook hands with them
"This will either turn out really good or really bad" Halley whispered to Sam while the two watched Daniel greet the other teens
"Let's hope is the former" she sighed

Halley had to admit, Daniel had a gift to bring people together. After his talk about him being a Cobra Kai back in his teenage years he eased the waters between them, that didn't mean that the Miyagi-Do's were immediately accepting of the newcomers but they were keeping an open mind. And at least that was enough to finally lift the rock back into its position.
When the Dojo was finally acceptable looking they started the actual training. The former Cobras were also willing to keep an open mind to the Miyagi-do techniques
"You know you have to close your eyes fully for the exercises to actually work, right?" Halley walked up to the youngest of the guys that had walked in. He was asian and didn't look older than 12. He looked up at her embarrassed
"Sorry" soft blush coated over the kid's cheeks
"It's alright. What's your name?" she frankly didn't knew any of their names other than Chris and that's because he and Demetri had been figthing earlier
"Nathaniel" he answered
"Well, Nathaniel. The point of the breathing exercises it to focus and find balance in your body and mind. That's quite hard to achieve if you keep your eyes open as it is easier to get distracted" she squeezed the boy's shoulder and continued her walk for her water bottle.

Having more than four students turned out to be really fun, and really motivated Daniel now that he had the ability to do different exercises with many people. But the second day of training wasn't as fun, it was hot enough to melt Iron on top of a car. All of them were huddled under the little shadow the tree in the dojo gave them
"Oh, God. It's so hot out" Demetri complained leaning on Halley
"I feel like I'm melting. By the end of the day I'll be a puddle of sweat and disappointment" Halley hadn't feel that sticky in her whole life
"I'm sweating in places I didn't even know I had pores" He rub some of his sweat on Halley making her cringe
"Gross" she rubbed it back on his shirt
"Alright, guys. Get out from under that tree. It's time to get to work" there was a collective groan before they all complied
"Hey, Mr. LaRusso, It's like 100 degrees out. Can't we take it easy today?" Robby asked. Halley hadn't seen him so tired ever since they started training
"Are you kidding? This heat wave is a gift. Today, you are going to experience Shochu-Geiko"
"Like the car insurance" Chris said and Halley would have snorted if she had the energy to
"Shochu-Geiko is a Japanese exercise where you train during the hottest days of the year. It's about pushing yourself to your limit. The fight isn't always gonna come when it's 75 degrees and breezy"
"Aren't we supposed to avoid fighting?" Sam asked
"Sometimes you can't. Someday, the fight may come to you. And I wanna make sure you're ready. Som today, we're gonna see what Miyagi-Do is made of" that didn't cheer anyone up
"I still think the person who came up with this torture is a moron" Halley mumbled making Nathaniel snort from besides her

They were now all in a circle, Halley in the middle. She was in fighting position waiting for her uncle to say a number
"Four!" Halley sensed movement from behind her, she turned around crouching slightly to avoid the guy's fist and she delivered one herself to his side while he was recovering from the failed attack. She got the point and he went back to his spot "One!" Daniel said almost immediately without letting her get ready. She received a kick to the back of her knee making her fall, but she slid one of her legs through the ground making contact with the guy's feet, throwing him off balance and giving herself the opportunity to kick his chest "Alright, Demetri's turn. Come on. Demetri, get in there" Halley squeezed his shoulder in encouragement. Daniel waited until he got ready to announce the number "Three!" Chris launched at Demetri and gave him a punch in the gut, earning a scream and a grunt from the guy
"Sorry, Meat. You gotta block that" Chris went back to his place
"Six!" Daniel said quickly. The boy swiped Demetri off his feet immediately
"Ah! I hate this" he said from the floor
"Alright, come on, get up!" Daniel said obviously frustrated with Dem
"Can we please take a break?" Sam practically begged "This heat is brutal" Daniel looked around at the teens sweat covered clothes
"You guy wanna cool off? Alright. I think I can accommodate that"
"Why do I think that's not gonna be any better" Halley said only receiving a innocent smile from her uncle
