"Up next our second boy's semifinal Axel Kovačević of Iron Dragons versus Robby Keene of Miyagi-Do" they had barely any time to register Halley's victory when the next announcement was made. They turned to their other captain and didn't hesitate to give him the encouragement he deserved. Halley was more nervous for Robby than she was for her own fight. They bowed to each other, faces coated with determination
"Ready?Fight" Robby was the one that started the attack but Axel avoided every single one of those leaving Robby to only punch air, Axel immediately asserted dominance over Robby, he was quick, aggressive and his defense was on point. He was getting points and made Robby bleed. Halley frowned when Axel immobilized Robby from his arms
"Are you going to keep defending, or are you going to fight?" without waiting for an answer Axel pushed him right into the Cobra Kais behind him
"Hey!"
"Come on!" they heard their senseis complain just as they saw how Kwon elbowed Robby in the ribs harshly
"Hey!" Miguel rushed forward
"What the hell is this guy's problem?" Halley said angrily and when Miguel was pushed into the ground by Axel not only her but the rest of the Miyagi-Dos reacted walking into the mat as back up knowing it was about to get heated. Halley looked to the side and saw Robby in his own argument with the Cobra Kais
"Stop! Stop this!" Gunther said but no one was listening to him "Get ahold of yourselves!. Everybody off the mat now or this tournament-" he was interrupted when the sensei of the disqualified dojo knocked him to the ground and yelled something in russian that made the tension that was brewing fully go over the edge.
Halley made a decision when Kwon headbutted Robby, he was alone and so she ran to take one two of the Cobra Kais on her own so Robby would have it easier. She was taking one of them at the time, they were aggressive, rules of the tournament be damned and when she received an elbow to the shoulder she decided to ditch them as well. She elbowed one of them in the face as she spun kicking the other one in the stomach before kicking him again under the chin sending him to the floor. The one left had recovered quicker than she expected and pushed her forward with her head straight into a column, she grunted when she felt the contact, blood immediately running down her nose, the Cobra Kai hit her in the ribs taking the air out of her and so she lifted her leg backwards hitting him in the crotch effectively getting him off her. She even had time to clean some of the blood pooling over her upper lip with the sleeve of her gi before hitting him in the face with her knee hard enough to knock him out.
Halley didn't even have time to take a breath before something pushed her again towards the column, this time on her back. Looking up she found Erick looking down at her, he had thrown the guy he was fighting on her to push her on the wall. She would've rolled her eyes if they weren't in the middle of a brawl and whatever reservations he had before to not get himself in trouble with his sensei were now off the table. Halley didn't hesitate, she couldn't so she pushed herself off the wall and immediately started a fight with him not wanting to listen to him talk. Erick was caught by surprise by her punch to the face, his head snapped sideways but almost without missing a bit he turned to respond with a kick Halley covered but still made her stumble
