If Halley had to describe the movie they were watching with one word, that would be: Horrendous. She didn't think there was a moment where she had been more bored in her life.
"I'm gonna go get more soda. Does anyone else want anything?" she turned to look at the rest of the people in the car, Sam, Miguel and Hawk all shook their heads no, except Demetri that took a few seconds too long to choose what soda he wanted, if Mr. Pibb or Dr. Pepper. She exited and walked towards the food shop with her eyes still focused on the big screen, it was a bad movie but if she was already there she might as well know what was happening "Oh, sorry" she said when she bumped into someone, and froze when she recognized the guy in front of her "Robby" she mumbled
"Halley" he said, just as off guard as she was. With everything that happened after the fight Halley fully forgot that Robby was also going through stuff, she focused so much on herself that her friend completely slipped her mind. It wasn't until she got out of the hospital when she found out he had gone to juvie and then Sam told her how he wasn't responding her e-mails so she decided to give him time, then he came out of juvie and had the run in with Sam and Miguel she just figured he didn't want any of them close to him
"How have you been?" she asked genuinely
"Well, I don't know. Other than the fact I went to juvie after my girlfriend cheated on me with her ex-boyfriend I would say it's been pretty normal" he said sarcastically and Halley winced because what kind of stupid question was that. It was clear Robby's life wasn't the easiest, even with Daniel's help so now that he had cut off contact with the LaRusso's she knew for sure things weren't very good for him
"Robby" she sighed "I know things aren't easy right now. I'm just asking to make sure you're doing alright"
"You seem really worried for someone who didn't even bother reaching out before" he scoffed and she couldn't say anything against that because he was right, she had been so self absorbed the prior months tha she didn't even bothered checking up on her friend.
"I-" she was interrupted by something crashing against the ground and when she looked over Robby's shoulder she saw Hawk towering over a kid, with Bert and Nathaniel behind him. There was food all over the floor and Hawk was smirking
"That piece of shit" Robby also saw this and immediately turned around and walked up to them
"Damn it" Halley groaned and followed quickly after her former friend
"You should really watch where you're going, kid" Hawk said looking down at the kid that seemed to be the same age as Nathaniel and Bert
"Yeah, same goes for you" Robby walked closer with his hands in his pockets. Halley stopped in her tracks when she saw a group of Cobra Kai walking up to them. Angela and Erick being some of them
"Look who it is" Hawk raised his eyebrows
"You betrayed Miyagi-do. Traitor" Nathaniel spat
"Oh, there's a traitor here for sure" Tory said as they all stood behind Robby. Halley knew where that was going so she ran back to her car and knocked on the window to get their attention, when they looked at her she pointed at where the confrontation was happening before walking back, hearing Sam and Miguel get out of the car after her, she didn't see Demetri around but she decided she was gonna worry about that later
"He's gonna get what he deserves" Angela spoke menacingly
"I don't think so" Halley stood besides Hawk glaring at Angela
"Not if we have to say anything about it, princess" Sam said and glared at Tory. The glaring contest was interrupted by no one else than Demetri
"Hey guys! Can you believe that they have Mr. Pibb and Dr. Pepper" he said without releasing what he had just walked into "Oh, shit" he cursed with disdain "Not another rumble" he whined. Halley rolled her eyes and grabbed Demetri's arm and pulled him behind her so he wouldn't be standing right in the middle
"Careful, LaRusso" Tory directed her words towards Sam "Your mommy isn't here to play peacemaker"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Sam frowned
"Guys, stop!. Okay? We can't do this" Miguel intervene "We'll beat them on the mat"
"Oh, really?" Robby asked amusingly "You do remember what happened the last time we fought, right?" Halley could see Miguel visibly tense at Robby's words, obviously it was a touchy subject
"Okay" the hispanic teen nodded "Meet us at the baseball diamond in 30 minutes "Sam looked at him confused "And no weapons" he specifically looked at Tory
"Yeah, we won't need them" Tory snarled
"Yeah" Miguel whispered and he was the first one to start walking away, followed by the others.

Miguel told Halley where to park the car, close by the baseball diamond so they could see inside of it but away enough for the Cobra's to not see them. He didn't explain what he was planning and simply told them to wait and enjoy. And right on time, 30 minutes later the group of Cobra Kai's walked in the diamond and seconds later the sprinklers activated. Halley was the first one to laugh, followed by Hawk
"Dude, genius move!" He turned to praise Miguel "We didn't even had to throw a punch!"
"My favorite kind of victory," Demetri said from the back seat. It was really funny to see them confused trying to figure out what was happening. After a minute Halley pulled out of the place to drive everyone home
"Humiliation is the best way of revenge" Halley was laughing now but she knew the cobra's were gonna find a way to get back to them, they just didn't know how or when, and they knew they had to be prepared

I must admit, I completely forgot about Robby and Halley's friendship, ups.... Tbh, at first I was meant to mention something about him after the school fight, but I was so focused on Halley's mental health that I just didn't know where to put it and then I continued writing and I kind of forgot, sorry :/
