Their walk came to an end when they entered the hotel lobby, they had been at it for a while but for both girls it had felt like a couple minutes. Their last topic had been Eli and Halley had given Hana a short summary of their story and why they were currently fighting
"Honestly, Halley? Just talk to him as soon as you can, he was upset, you were upset, both having a bad day and that asshole didn't help the situation" Hana rolled her eyes at the mention of Erick to which Halley smiled slightly as they got onto the elevator
"Yeah, I was planning to, anyway. I just haven't found a moment after we got back" Halley's floor came first cutting their chat short "This is me. It was so nice to meet you Hana" Halley offered a kind smile
"You too, Halley" she smiled back before the doors of the elevator shut finally separating them. Halley walked to her room and looked at the boy's across the hall, she knocked on it but when there was no answer she realized they were not back yet so she enter her room making a mental note to speak to her boyfriend first thing in the morning and then started doing her night rutine.As she finished washing her face there was a nock on the door, she frowned as the girls had key-cards and when she opened the door to her boyfriend she knew she had to take that opportunity
"Hey" he smiled almost shyly at her
"Hi. You wanna come in? The girls aren't back yet" Eli nodded and she moved aside to let him in before closing the door, the boy didn't let her fully turn around before words blurted out of his mouth
"I'm sorry" he apologized surprising Halley whose eyes widened
"You're sorry?" that had thrown her off, she felt like the one that owed him the apology "For what? I'm the one that should be sorry"
"I made you fall off the platform"
"That was an accident" she had been pretty mad at that earlier but as soon as the adrenaline wore off she saw it as what it was, a mistake "I am actually sorry though. I was mad earlier and took it out on you. I know you don't lose your head, I just blurted stuff out and I didn't mean it. I'm sorry"
"It's okay. Erick gets the worse out of everyone" he shrugged "I would've liked to know he approached you though. After everything that asshole has done I don't like him around you"
"I'm fine, I can take care of him on my own"
"I know" he stepped closer to her and threw his arms around her shoulders "But you don't have to" Halley hummed to acknowledge his comment and wrapped her arms around his torso, head resting on his shoulder and right there she remembered what had happened earlier that night
"He approached me earlier at the bar, again" his arms squeezed around her and she couldn't see his eyes but she knew he'd rolled them
"I'm gonna beat his ass"
"It was fine though, I made a new friend because of it" she excitedly changed the subject and started to talk to him about Hana. Eli walked them both to her bed, him landing on his back with Halley on top of him. Neither of them realized when they fell asleep but it was the best one they both had gotten since arriving to Barcelona

"And then he leaned in-"
"What?!" Halley almost spat out her toast as Sam was telling her all about her encounter with Axel the prior night as they were having breakfast "Please tell me you didn't let him kiss you"
"Of course I didn't" Sam said almost offended "I told him I had a boyfriend and after he basically ran away, so there was that"
"Thank god" Halley sighed. She wanted to know what was with that trip and making every couple wobble
"What about you and Eli?" she changed the subject raising her eyebrows "You didn't seem particularly mad when I walked in"
"We spoke, figured it out and we fell asleep almost as soon as we finished" Halley smiled sweetly, she'd woken up besides her boyfriend bright and early, he'd gone change to his room and meet with her down at the lobby as he joined her on a beach walk where she'd gotten lots of cute pictures to look at later so that morning she was feeling especially good

Daniel had summoned them to his room, all walking in one by one. There was an aura of strange contentment in the room. Halley sat comfortably against her boyfriend as they all stared expectantly towards Daniel and Chozen and when three words left their sensei's mouth it was life a flip had been switched in the room
"Silver is back" Daniel and Chozen had explained the situation and they could tell there were many things left out of the story but they weren't focused in that as a somber silence settled into the room
"We're back, bitches. Eager to kick ass" Johnny and his fabulous timing just walked in the room with a completely different tone to the situation, Miguel and Kenny behind him "Who's ready to win this thing" it took him a minute to realize the faces of everyone looking back at him "What crawled up everyone's butts?" they explained quickly again for the newcomers before the three senseis left the room, leaving the teens alone.
They were left listening to Devon's apology to Kenny, they discovered how she'd sabotaged him and Halley could only think about her lost money on the bet, maybe if it had been fair she would have lost only half of it.
"Pst" Demetri got their attention "If Miguel is back why is Kenny here?"
"Oh, 'cause he's getting Devon's spot" Eli answered quickly, he'd been talking to Miguel earlier and he had told him about it
"What, so he just forgave her all of a sudden?" Demetri scrunched his face and Halley rolled her eyes already knowing what was coming, years of friendship with the guy made him predictable "After what she did?" he scoffed "I don't buy it" he stood up, towering over Halley "Halley, as our only captain without a soft spot for Kenny, I feel obligated to inform you that we may have a potential traitor in our midst" Halley turned to look at the youngest in the room that continued to talk and she didn't know in that moment if she was being too naive but she genuinely didn't think so
"And that conclusion is based on what? Him being in Cobra Kai before?. News flash, Dem, he wouldn't be the only one in our team. He hasn't given us a reason to jump to conclusions, so we shouldn't"
"I'm not saying he has" Demetri defended "All I'm saying is we know Silver's gonna cheat. The only question is, how?" he looked at the younger teen and Halley decided she'd keep an eye out, not because she was outwardly suspicious of him, but because she knew Silver was manipulative and Kenny was young and had just came out of that environment, a little back up never hurt anybody
