Tory was clearly over the moon, she had won the All Valley Tournament and she decided to go and celebrate her title with her teammates. But as she was walking with her trophy she heard something she probably wasn't meant to hear
"I almost thought you were gonna back out of our deal a few times" Silver was inside a room with the referee "You know what? You played it just right. No one suspects a thing" The realization hit Tory like a truck "Money will be in your account tomorrow morning"
"Thank you, Mr. Silver" they both walked away and Tory was left staring at her championship trophy, it wasn't hers, she didn't win, it was all Silver.
'I don't know what it is with you Cobra's and believing you're better than anyone, but you're not and you'll realize that sooner or later. You all are just a bunch of cheating assholes'
After all, Halley was right, Tory had spent weeks mentally scoffing and rolling her eyes at those words, she was ready to prove the brunette wrong, to tub in her face how her words were just bullshit, and for a moment she thought she did, she thought she had won, but she hadn't, Silver payed the referee and her title was nothing but a lie.

"Does your mom hate me, now?" Eli asked as he settled in his girlfriend's bed
"No" Halley laughed "At least I don't think so, why?"
"Because she stared at mi the whole way up the stairs" he pulled Halley to lay in his chest
"Oh" Halley laughed more "Well, after last year's All Valley, she didn't like you very much"
"Understandable" he nodded
"Totally" Halley agreed "She was concerned, and since she hasn't been here for a while I think she still kind of is. I wouldn't be surprised if she went to ask uncle Daniel for a full background check"
"Should I be worried?"
"Nah, he's taken a liking to you lately" Halley reassured. It was true, after Eli officially joined Miyagi-do the team and sensei had warmed up to him to the point to where the glares turned into warm smiles at the sight of him, and after him winning the All Valley it became even more obvious that anything they could've had against him was totally gone.
Halley couldn't be happier for him. After breaking up with him the year prior she thought her life was crumbling down, and in a way, it did but just for it to be rebuilt even stronger than it was.

This was a short chapter but I think it was important to include Tory's moment of realization as it will play a big part in the season to come. And Eli and Halley being the cutest ever was also necessary because I love them and can't stop writing them together
Also, important question, I'm brainstorming ideas to write into s6 of cobra kai and I need to know if you'd like to see Halley as a captain for the Sekai Tekai instead of Sam, because honestly I think it'd be pretty cool, so let me know
