ʟxx. ᴋɪꜱꜱ ʏᴏᴜ

Halley had been stolen by moon and her friends as soon as she walked through the doors, leaving Eli and Demetri on their own. The brunette had been having the most fun she had in a while, she might've not been best friends with moon but she definitely looked forward to spending some time with the girl every once in a while. Moon was so bubbly and full of life she passed that energy onto everyone else

Halley lost track of time, she had no idea how long she had been dancing with the girls, she only realized it had been a while when she noticed how out of breath she felt and then she remembered that she didn't come alone and immediately felt bad because she had basically abandoned her friends. She looked for them around the room until her eyes fell on Eli, standing alone with a drink in his hand, she frowned when she couldn't see Demetri close by

"You should go to him" Moon, who had noticed Halley staring at Eli, told her with a smile "He's been staring at you for most of the time you've been dancing" the girl smiled fondly

"Thanks, Moon. I had a great time and we should definitely hang out more" Halley said already walking towards her friend

"Definitely" Moon assured as she went back to dancing. When Eli saw Halley approaching him he did his best to pretend he wasn't just staring at her

"Where did Demetri go?" Halley asked, standing besides the boy who just pointed somewhere in the dance floor. Looking to where he was pointing Halley saw Demetri dancing with Yasmine "How those two ended up together, I will never know" she still wasn't the most fond of Yasmine but Halley had to admit that she wasn't as bad as she used to be, and for the sake of Demetri they both were kind to each other

"I wonder the same thing every day" he sighed. And suddenly, a slow song started playing and Halley recognized it immediately, it was the same song they danced to at the Halloween dance. When they heard it they had very different reactions, Eli swore he felt sweat drip down his back from nervousness and the question for Halley stuck into his throat. Halley on the other side, broke into a smile and when she looked at the boy she knew she would be the one giving the first step

"Eli Moskowitz'' she extended a hand towards him "will you dance with me?" She waited expectantly as she saw his brain trying to process her question and laughed to herself when all he managed to do was nod at her and take her hand. She immediately pulled him towards the dance floor, her hands meeting behind his neck and he's around her waist

"I'm kind of having a deja-vu" he said softly but they were so close she heard perfectly

"I was kind of thinking the same" Halley could remember that night at the Halloween dance, how excited she was at the chance of Eli asking her to dance and how ecstatic she was when he did. The brunette decided to be bold, she was over them dancing around each other, she was over the mild flirting and shy looks, she was over everything. Then she stopped and thought for a second about what she was gonna do and before she could talk herself out of it, Johnny's words hit her

'The only thing holding you back is fear. Stop being scared'

He was talking about Karate, but surely that also applied for every other situation in her life, right? And even if it didn't, he just decided it did so there was no going back.

"You know one thing I didn't do that night that I really wish I did?" She broke the silence that had fallen between them as they rocked at the rhythm of the song

"What?" he whispered when he saw her get closer

"Kiss you" His mouth fell open in a million words he couldn't get out "I was thinking about it but then chickened out. I thought too much about it and got scared. I was scared of so many things it was ridiculous. I was scared because you were my best friend and I didn't want to lose that" she moved her hand to no cradle his jaw "I was scared because I don't have the best record with relationships" she laughed weakly "There were so many things I was scared of that stopped me from kissing you that night and when the song ended I immediately regretted not doing it" she sighed "And I was gonna do the same thing today, I was taking myself out of it just thirty seconds ago, actually" and when she saw he was still not able to get a word out she continued rambling "But, then I remembered some words, from a person I'm actually surprised I'm taking an advice from because never in a million years would I have imagined ever that this man could have any useful advice. One way or another fear has always held me back, and I've decided that I need to stop being scared" Halley had no idea what to make of his silence "And I need you to please say something because otherwise I will continue rambling and end up saying something really st-"

She didn't get to finish because Eli's lips collided with hers, so hard that erased every word in her brain, everything she said and was planning to say was suddenly gone. She couldn't think of anything but him, all she could feel was him. Eli Moskowitz was the name in her brain and nothing else mattered, the fears she had before vanished with the touch of his lips and as one of his hands lifted to cradle the back of her head she felt on cloud nine.

Both of her hands cupped his cheeks as they both smiled into the kiss, familiarity surrounded them and they melted into each other's embrace, the safe space they had created and had been destroyed by the bad decisions made was finally building back up.

The kiss ended reluctantly from both parts, but not ready to let go of each other, their foreheads met in the middle, eyes closed still wanting to savor the moment not knowing if when they opened them it would all turn out to be a dream, and illusion, a made up scene by their hearts.

"I wanted to kiss you too" he confessed "And not only that night, but so many other times it's embarrassing" she could feel the warmth coming from under the palms of her hands and she just knew it was from a blush "But I was way too much of a coward to ever do anything about it. Because you are just amazing, you are the greatest girl I've ever met and it scared the living shit out of me. Because I was a loser, and I know you always say I wasn't but I really was. I was a loser with a capital 'L' and still somehow had you in my life" he sighed against her lips "And then, when I finally had you, I fucked it up" his hand squeezed her waist "The second you walked out of that mall I wanted to run after you and apologize, but my pride didn't let me, so I held myself back"

"Guess we need to stop holding ourselves back, then" she joked, as soft smile in her lips

"Halley" he called and she finally opened her eyes, foreheads now away from each other, he was already looking at her, his eyes shining with something she couldn't quite recognize. "Would you take me back as your boyfriend?"

"I more than gladly would" They sealed it with one more kiss

The now, once again love birds were so busy with each other they didn't even realize the song had ended, and that Tory Nichols and Robby Keene had walked in the room. They most definitely didn't realize the permanent glare form Miguel and Sam that most likely meant trouble. Oblivious to everything they left the gym early to spend time with each other, after all, there had been way too much time lost

Hello, hello

Fine line by Harry Styles started playing when I was writing that last part and I was sobbing. Man, I'm such a cry baby it's not even funny anymore.

I don't even know if I made it too dramatic, but I honestly couldn't give a fuck less, I love drama and drama loves me, so if you didn't like it you will have to deal with it :)

Anyway, FINALLY they're back together. This was supposed to happen at the tournament but I'm an impatient bitch and I decided to rush it because, what difference does a few chapters make?

AAAAND to finish with my 1000 notes, I'm at my dad's house for like two weeks and I don't know how much I will be able to write and upload 'cause my little sister is a gremlin that won't leave me tf alone :) I'll try my best
