Halley was happy when she found out that Daniel managed to convince Sam of going back to Karate, she swore the man had superpowers. Halley knew how much Sam loved Karate and she knew how it was to be afraid of something you love, and she didn't wish that for her cousin.
"I know it's been a while since our last class" Daniel started looking at all of his students "After the fight at the school, I wasn't sure Miyagi-do should stay open. But things had gotten worse since we shut down. That's why we're back. The only way to stop Cobra Kai is if we all work together" This time even Amanda came to support
Halley was glad things on their side were getting a little better, it was not perfect but now they had support and actual training for what's about to come, every student in Miyagi-do was tired of getting shit on and it was time to finally change that

It seemed like love was in the air, Halley had seen Sam and Miguel very clearly flirting and then she stumbled upon Yasmine and Demetri sucking their souls out of each other. She never got what Demetri saw in her but he seemed happy so she guessed that was good. But now she felt she was lacking in the love department, then again, that wasn't something she was too bothered about.
Her last two relationships had ended up horribly and they had taken all of the wish to date any other person for a while, which was sad, because Halley was a romantic, she loved to do all the sappy romantic shit, she liked going on dates and holding hands and cuddling while watching movies.
She really missed having a boyfriend or more like...She missed Eli. She missed him being her boyfriend, she missed when he would come to her house and watch her bake while they talked, she missed him falling asleep for a few hours before going home, she missed them walking together to class, she missed even the smallest of things she did with him.
And even then, she would be okay if they weren't dating, before her boyfriend he was her best friend, the one she pretty much grew up with, she would've done anything for him if he asked her. I you had told Halley that Eli would turn into what he did she would've never in a thousand years believed you, yet, it happened.
That teached her that everyone can change, no matter how good or kind they look, no matter how much they criticize and despise people for doing a certain thing, there's always a chance that they could turn out exactly like those people they once hated.

Daniel was on edge, that much was clear to all of the students in Miyagi-do and Amanda decided to intervene when he snapped at Demetri
"Did you like having your arm broken, Demetri?" Halley winced at the harsh words and the rest stopped doing the exercise "Because if you defend like that, you're gonna be right back in that cast before you know it"
"Uh..Okay, guys. Let's, uh...Let's take five. Yeah?" She smiled to the teens "There's iced tea and lemonade inside" everyone listened and tiredly walked into the house, they had been out there for what felt like ages. Daniel refused to let them go until the got it right and since the hadn't been training most of them were a little rusty on their moves

"There's no way they're canceling the All-Valley" Halley walked back and forth in Sam's room "I had finally made up my mind about competing and they're canceling it?!" She raised her hands in indignation
"We can't let them do that" Sam also stood from the bed "They're holding a assembly to discuss it" she showed in her phone the announcement "Me and Miguel were thinking to go and try convince them into not canceling" Sam sat back down on the bed and Halley's mind was immediately taken away from the All-Valley
"You and Miguel, huh?" she looked at her cousin with her eyebrows raised and a sneaky smile
"Oh, my god. Don't even" Sam rolled her eyes but from where she was standing Halley could see her blushing
"Okay, I won't" The brunette raised her arms in surrender
"Thank you" Sam deadpanned
"But..." she went to sit besides her cousin "If you answer one question I'll leave you alone" Sam raised her eyebrows and nodded for her to continue "Are you thinking of going back with him?"Sam opened her mouth to answer and then closed it again
"I think..." she looked at everywhere but Halley "That I'll just see where life takes us"
"Great. So that's a yes" Halley stood up from the bed
"No, Halley-" Sam went after her
"It's okay. That's all I needed to now" The brunette left the room with a smile in her lips and Sam right behind, calling for her

We all know Halley misses Eli and Eli misses Halley, but Hawk's pride is too huge to even try and apologize and Halley is not stupid to go back with him so as of now Halley is stuck playing matchmaker with Sam and Miguel. But don't worry, her time for love will come...eventually
