When Stephen woke up he heard voices that sounded stern and strict he wanted to listen to what the voices were saying but the pain he was feeling was too much making him black out once again.

When he came around again for the second time he was sore and the room was quiet,he slowly opened his eyes and realized he wasn't in his room and the memories started to come back.He remembered Ant and Dec oh god they know he thought they had seen what happened when his dad hit him and they were the reason why he isn't on the floor of his room right now.

He looked to see a monitor that held his vitals on and a IV stand that he was connected to so he was in the hospital the boys called for help then.He felt suddenly angry at them for what he didn't know maybe it was because he was weak and told them or it was because he was in a hospital bed  and his family is who knows where right now.

His self conflict ended quickly when the doctor came in to see how he was doing,"Hello Stephen i'm Doctor Smith how are you"The doctor asked "I don't know where is my family"Stephen asked,the doctor shifted awkwardly"They were arrested your friends called the cops and when they told them what happened they were arrested for child abuse and when you got here we seen the rest of damage,the broken bones and scars so it was reported but you have to give a statement but you don't need to worry about that right now are you in any pain"he asked Stephen who shook his head still in shock that his parents were arrested.

"Okay let a nurse know if you are,um your friends are in the waiting room are they okay to send back"and Stephen nodded,even though he probably get pity looks.The doctor left amusingly to get his friends while Stephen was thinking everything over.

He broke out of his thinking again when his two friends no two brothers like Dec said entered the room with relived expressions "Stevie thank god your okay we were so worried"Ant rambled and Stephen smiled finally seeing that they cared "Yeah we were worried Stephen we had to call t-"Stephen cut him off "I know thank you"their mouths made an O shape when he said thank you they thought he be mad "Your not mad"Dec asked confused.    

Stephen smiled sadly at them"No you did something i could have never done and i'm thankful for that"he said to them letting a tear roll down his cheek"It had to be done,are you okay"Ant asked him and Stephen nodded "Yeah thanks to you guys"Ant walked over to him,Dec followed his lead"Can we hug you"Ant asked the boy in the bed "Yeah please"Stephen said quietly.

They wrapped their arms around the skinny frame that belonged to their friend "So glad your okay"Ant cried into Stephen's shoulder"Yeah we'd be lost without you"Dec said to him wiping his tears.

They stayed like that until the doctor came in again"Okay Stephen the police would like to take a statement and since you need an guardian to be present,the hospitals social worker is going to here and she is also going to help you when you are discharged"the doctor said"Where would i go after i am discharged"Stephen asked noticing his friends uneasy faces "Well the social workers normally see if their is any family that is willing to take you if not they set you up in a foster home but you don't have to worry about this now i'm going to go get her sit tight"The doctor said and left.

Ant was the first to speak"What if you have to leave"That did come across Stephen's mind as far as he knew he didn't have any other family"I don't know but we will work it out okay"he gave the boys a reassuring smile "Yeah brother's for life"Dec said smiling "Brother's for life"Ant said "Brother's for life"Stephen said as the cop and social worker came in,knowing it was time for the boys to leave they gave Stephen a smile as if saying "It's going to be okay"and left.

"Okay Stephen tell us everything okay"the cop said,so he told them everything about the abuse he received mentally and physically,about how angry his parents would get if he messed up,how they preferred his brother over him,what his father did to him every time me was in the "Wrong",he told the cops what happened recently and had proof.When he finished he felt better and safe.

"Okay son listen your parents are going away and since you and your brother are underage your going to have to go somewhere whether that be a family member or foster family but you will be safe okay"the officer said to Stephen who had red rimmed eyes "Thank you"He whispered "Just doing out jobs get better soon"then the police left leaving Stephen with the social worker who left shortly after explaining to him what will be happening soon.He was glad his parents are getting what they deserves and his brother will no longer be a "golden boy" he relaxed.

Stephen looked out the window that was in his room and smiled for the first time in a long time,he heard the door open knowing who it was he turned to his brothers and smiled"I know i said this before thank you"Stephen said"No you don't have to thank us"Dec said but was cut off"No for being my friend when i never had one and for being their and caring when no one ever did"Stephen told the boys who were tearing up"Oh Stevie"Ant cried hugging him."You know what they say Karma is a bitch"Dec said and Stephen couldn't agree more.
