He was drowning.

Not the in the water drowning but drowning in life.

Stephen who was full of energy and life was slowly drowning. He didn't know what to do and it scared him.He was scared of what would happen if he drowned and couldn't get back to his happily bubbly self.

But did anyone know he was feeling like this,No.He refused to burden anyone with his problems and didn't want to be looked at differently.

Though what he really didn't want was for his two best friends to find out.Ant and Dec would never leave him be,if they could they would probably coddle him to death. He didn't want or need that so telling them was not an option but then again it was Ant and Dec.

So they most definitely already know something is wrong, they always know.

At this point he was just waiting for them to come knocking on his door and demand answers. Now would he tell them what was wrong,Probably no but then again he didn't really trust himself not to say anything.

Well in his drowning of emotions he forgot he had to go to work today, well he forgot to get out of his bed and ignored the ringing from his phone.

He just laid in bed all day either sleeping or staring into space. He had no energy to get out of bed,to eat,to do anything.

It was about four something in the afternoon when he heard an obnoxious knocking coming from his front door,he ignored it and it eventually stopped.Well then sound of his door opening jerked him awake.

He didn't know if he should do anything if someone just broke in but then again did he really care?,No he did not.

He waited and waited until the door to his room opened, the sound of footsteps came closer to his bed and he ignored them just waiting for whoever was there to just kill him or something.

Well killing never came instead someone's hand running through his hair gently."Stevie wake up it's Ant and Dec."Ant's smooth and gentle voice flew through the room.

Stephen peaked his eye's open and saw two familiar figures with concerned faces staring at him.

"Stephen, you okay?"Dec questioned.Stephen shrugged turning his head to the side ignoring the two.

"Stevie can you please answer if your okay or not. Were worried."Ant stated not liking the way Stephen just brushed them off.

"Please leave."His voice barley above a whisper. Both men certainly were not leaving and Stephen should have guessed that but he was just to tired to care.

"We're not leaving,we are worried.First you've been acting weirdly second you didn't come to work and didn't answer your phone. So no were not leaving because clearly something Is wrong."Ant stated sitting down on the left side of the bed and Dec sitting on the right.

"Well i'm not talking."He muttered being stubborn.Ant and Dec both expected this because well Stephen was one hell of a stubborn person and wouldn't talk so easily. They were just going to have to wait for Stephen to talk to them.

"Well were not leaving."Dec declared. If Stephen was going to be stubborn both Ant and Dec could be stubborn too.So they sat in silence waiting for Stephen to talk and after a good twenty minutes he finally moved to where he was on his back.

"I don't know what is wrong with me."He admitted quietly.Ant shared a look with Dec which indicated they were right. But now they were getting more concerned since Stephen didn't know what was wrong but it was something.

"How about you start with how you feel, bud."Dec coaxed. So Stephen did,he told them how he wasn't feeling so great and how everything felt way too much.

Both older men didn't know that Stephen felt like this.He always seemed fine but apparently they missed how bad it was. When Stephen was done filling them in they felt like crappy friends for not noticing this.

And by the looks Ant and Dec were giving each other it was a silent promise they were making for Stephen.

"Stephen thank you for telling us.We are so bloody sorry for not noticing this sooner."Dec admitted.Stephen shook his head,"You don't have to be sorry. You shouldn't have to feel like you have notice if something is wrong.I'm sorry."

"Don't you dare apologize Stephen Mulhern."Ant sternly said."You have nothing to be sorry for, your human and you have feelings and as your friends we should have seen something was wrong. So now were going to make it up to you."

"Yeah were going to help you okay."Dec asked rubbing his friends shoulder trying to comfort him.Stephen who just laid there just nodded, not knowing what to say because he really didn't.

"We're going to make sure your going to be okay.We promise."Ant said quietly leaning into his friend and giving him a warm hug,Dec doing the same.

"Thank you."Stephen muttered in one of his friends shoulders.
