Stephen knew something was wrong with him,he didn't know what that was but he knew.It's that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you know when something is going to happen,when you don't know.

Stephen feels like that.At first he thought nothing of it and when he started to get sick in the morning,thinking it was just a bug he left it be,but then he started to feel even worse.Ant told him to go see a doctor so he did.

After a series of tests the doctor walked in with a sorrowful look on his face.Stephen knew something was wrong.The doctor looked him in the eyes and says "Stephen i am sorry you have terminal cancer"his whole world stopped.Stephen heard the doctor talking but was not registering what he was saying,he numbly nodded and leave.

All he could think about was how was he going to tell his friends that he was dying,this will ruin them he just knows it.

four or so weeks passed 

Stephen has not told anyone but the people around could tell something was wrong even the fans knew.The weight loss was a give away and the sunken in cheeks,dark circles around his eyes and the many layers of clothing he wore.David was the first to asked what was wrong but Stephen pushed him away and told him everything was fine,it was not.

When Dec and Ant asked he started to cry and pushed them away,he could not tell them even if he had to hurt them.He started to sleep more even though those dark circles still haunted his eyes.He would be asked if he was okay and he would lie and say everything was okay.

Days went by soon months when he would see his doctor and each time would end with Stephen in tears.The time was coming he knew he needs to tell someone but he didn't know how to.All Stephen could think about was being a ticking time bomb ready to blow,expire and that will be it.

What Stephen did do was start hanging out with his friends well family again,he even made an amends with David(Which was very shocking)the girls would fret over him saying he needed to eat more and sleep more but was nice about it,Simon which shocked him than David,started to talk to him about things outside of work he must have been worried.And now the boys who are his brothers,confronted Stephen in privet demanding to know what was wrong and why was he acting weird.But Stephen said he was fine and that left the boys irritated.

His muscles started to ache a lot,it made him cry in pain and some days he couldn't get out of bed,he would cough up blood,his nose will bleed,and the head ache was bad.He scared of what is happening.

Stephen wrote letters to his family and explained everything from the beginning to the end of this horrible nightmare,he hopes they will forgive him at some point.

Months later

"I can't believe it's been 3 months Decky"Ant cried into Dec's side"I know Ant i miss him so much"Dec said holding his friend.It was a dark day when they found out that Stephen died in the hospital,hell they didn't even know what was wrong and when they found out from the doctor everything hurt.There brother was going through something this bad and they didn't even know,the knew something was wrong but he pushed everyone away.

Ant and Dec were the most affected,they were the closest to Stephen,hell everyone was sad.When Bgt rolled around Simone refused to film,it didn't feel right especially since Ant and Dec weren't okay.No one blamed them when they took a year off,they needed closure.

"He's still here with us in heart Ant"Dec sniffled looking his friend in the eye"I know but i wish he was still here"Ant cried
