CHAPTER- 28

Ivan POV:

"I know it's been a long time, I am sorry, kiddo," my voice came out as a whisper as my heart burning in pain.

I released a shaky breath, blinking my eyes rapidly.

"Just a little more Laurie. I have gathered almost everything that can ruin his life just like he ruined ours," I said, looking at my brother's gravestone.

I placed the flowers on the grave and let my tears roll down.

Laurie was the only one who loved me besides my family.

But Ace took it away from me.

Ace destroyed my whole life. My happiness.

He killed my brother.

But I couldn't do anything I was a fucking coward.

All these years I am waiting for the one chance to kill him brutally.

I will destroy his whole life perfectly.

They say secrets always come out but it's not.

Secrets can only come out when you unleash it.

"His friends will leave him when they get to know how Ace betrayed them, then he will be all alone" I chuckled as I imagined his dead body lying on the road.

"Then I will kill him like a dog in the streets," I said, enduringly.

"Sir" one of the guards yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I wiped my tears and set a cold face  and straightened my posture.

I walked towards the car and drove away to the mansion.

I, Ivan Hernandez royal, son of Michael Hernandez royal.

My father always kept me away from his world.

He made the world believe that Laurie was the only child he has.

It's not like I was interested in his underground business.

So, I was happy with his decision too.

But all hell broke loose when I got the news of my father and brothers dead.

That day Laurie promised me he will visit my place and I also stayed up all night, desperately waiting for him.

But all I got was a unfulfilled promise and the news of my brother's dead.

That's when I decided whatever it takes, I will kill him even if it means I have to die.

The only thing which I find comforting in that pathetic house is Iris.

Yeah, I am dick to like a girl, when I am literally planning to kill my enemy in his own house.

I liked her at first sight.

I know about her years ago when I saw her photo at Isaac's house.

Isaac used to be the underboss of the royal family.

He never liked her sister more like he despised her for being always dumb and stupid.

But gosh, I was struck by her when I saw her photo in Isaac's house.

It was an old photo.

Iris was wearing a white frock, smiling wide, and showing her teeth.

She looked like an angel.

If I wanted to, I could have found her years ago.

But, I don't want to drag her into this shitty mess.
