Chapter three

"Teen spirit."

The next morning, Beatrix had gotten this weird text from Bonnie asking her if she could walk with her to school, in which she told her, yes, although that meant she had to take breakfast to go, where she grabbed a bit extra for Bonnie, where when she made it to her house, Bonnie came walking out and as she did, Beatrix handed her breakfast "thanks." Bonnie told her, as she took the breakfast sandwich and began eating it "so for someone who usually drives and takes Elena to school, why did you decide to walk with me?" Beatrix asked her, taking a bite of her's.

"Well, cause you're really close with Stefan." Bonnie told her "not as close as he is with Elena." Beatrix told her, and as she did, Bonnie tilted her head "says the girl who in the matter of days became like his best friend." she told her, making Beatrix roll her eyes "okay, so, what's your point?" she asked her "my point is..is that last night at the grill when I handed him Elena's phone number and email, I got this strange feeling and blurted out what happened to you like some crazy girl." Bonnie shared, and when she did, Beatrix's eyes went wide as she choked on her sandwich "you said, what happened to you?" she asked her.

"Exactly! So I apologized and wigged out like I usually do and left." Bonnie shared, as Beatrix shook her head "I..so what was this feeling?" she asked her, as Bonnie shook her head "I don't know, it was dark and cold like what imagined death would be like." she shared, as Beatrix furrowed her brows "that's morbid and weird. Seeing as he's very much alive." she shared, well technically lied, but Bonnie doesn't need to know the truth.

"Which is why I texted you to walk with me especially after I texted Elena and told her to take it slow with him." Bonnie shared, and as she did, Beatrix's jaw dropped "oh no, you didn't! Bonnie!" she voiced "I know! I know, but come on, she's single like the two of us for the first time in her entire high school life, it's time for her to play the field." Bonnie shared, as Beatrix raised her brows "she does when we cheer. She doesn't when it comes to boys, you're starting to sound like Caroline!" she voiced, as the two had made it onto the school grounds and began walking toward's it.

As Bonnie sighed "you know what, this is me expressing concern about our best friends new boyfriend." she shared, as Beatrix furrowed her brows "but I thought Stefan was my best friend." she shared, and as she did, Bonnie scoffed, shoving her a bit, making Beatrix laugh "I'm kidding!" she voiced, and as she did, the two of them walked past Elena and Stefan and as they did a football came flying at them, as Beatrix's eyes went wide "Bonnie!" she yelled, shoving Bonnie out of the way and as the football came flying at her head, Stefan stepped in front of her and caught it, making Bonnie and Beatrix's eyes go wide along with everyone who had seen it, as Stefan then threw it back to none other then Tyler.

As Beatrix scoffed "of course." she said, as she turned, holding her hand out to Bonnie "are you okay?" she asked her "are you?" Bonnie asked her, as Beatrix scoffed, looking to Tyler and Matt "nice one, assholes!" she voiced, holding the middle finger up at them, and as she did, Elena chuckled, as Bonnie nudged Beatrix to continue toward's school, just as the bell rang for it to start.

Making it to social studies, Beatrix and Bonnie found their spots as they sat down, everyone else walked in, and soon class had started and since there was no special occasion coming up other then the big game, they were back to talking about the war "world war 2 ended in?" Mr Tanner asked, as he looked at them all, even Beatrix wasn't answering as she turned around looking at Stefan with raised brows, Stefan raised his brows back at her making Beatrix chuckle "Miss Juan?" Mr Tanner asked as the girl shrugged "1945." Beatrix spoke up as she turned back around "thank you, Ms Black at least somebody is awake in this class." Mr Tanner shared, as he looked around "Pearl Harbor?" he asked, as he caught Elena and Stefan talking to each other.
