Chapter fifty two

"In her time of grief."

Beatrix had been staying at home, adjusting to the fact that her mother and grandmother were no longer with her, where neither of the Salvatores, her friends, nor the Mikaelson's had come by which made moving on a lot easier cause there was nobody but her empty house to be around to remind her of what happened, where she was working on the garden, although today she was standing in her front yard with a chainsaw, with goggles and ear muff's on, chopping down one of the tree's that had gone rotten, as it fell down to the floor, she sensed someone behind her, as she spun around, Klaus held his hand's up "whoa, there love!" he voiced, as Beatrix furrowed her brows, turning off the chainsaw and dropping it to the floor, she took the ear muff's off "Klaus?" she asked him "missed me?" Klaus asked her, smirking.

Having changed her clothes, Beatrix headed with Klaus back to his house, and he had left her in there alone, trying to figure out an unlinking spell, in which she hadn't sat down, having not wanted to do magic in a long time since that night, and her phone had started ringing and as she pulled it out of her pocket, it was from Elena, as she put the phone down letting it keep ringing just like when her, Caroline and Bonnie called her all the times before.

And unknowing to her in a room over, Rebekah had put traps on Damon's hands hanging him from the ceiling "I found them in the shed. What kind of monster would trap a poor defenseless, animal?" she asked, walking over to the table nearby, grabbing a knife "I've gotta admit, even for me..it's a little kinky." Damon shared, as Rebekah walked over to him "you pretended to be interested in me. Then you slept with me so your trampy friend Sage could steal my thoughts. And ever since then, I realized, I now know exactly how Beatrix feels. So I decided to do us both a favor and bleed the vervain from your system." she shared, ripping his shirt open.

"Ohh." Damon told her as Rebekah sliced his chest open, Damon groaned "you wanna compel me to be your boyfriend?" he asked her "actually, I'd rather compel you to kill your brother. Or Elena. But since vampires heal bleeding you may take a while. We should probably stick to the major arteries." Rebekah shared, cutting him across the neck "well, look what you caught." Klaus told her as he walked up behind her, Rebekah turned to him "if you're trying to bleed him of vervain don't you think it would be easier to hang him upside down?" Klaus asked her "i'm perfectly capable of inflicting pain thank you for very much." Rebekah told him.

"Oh, well, excuse me, it's not like I have any expertise in the matter." Klaus shared, smirking "you know, why don't you just leave me be and go and manage your witch." Rebekah shared, as Damon furrowed his brows, Klaus turned around walking out, as Rebekah turned back to Damon "now, where were we?" she asked him, as Damon looked at her wondering what witch exactly they were talking about.

As Klaus walked into the room he left Beatrix in, he noticed her standing there "love?" he asked her, as Beatrix turned to him "what's wrong? I thought you would want to do this?" Klaus asked her, walking toward's her, Beatrix shook her head "I do! I just..am studying the unlinking spell." she told him, stepping around the couch and sitting down, Klaus raised his brows "hmm." he told her, walking up behind her, he leaned down, moving her hair out of the way, as he kissed her on the neck "you know you don't have to lie to me." he told her, as Beatrix sighed "I haven't done magic since they died. And I'm afraid that if I'm not strong enough then I'm gonna die to." she shared.

"Then you should have a little more faith in yourself, love. Your energy helped stop my mother's link with the Bennett witches, you protected yourself from her resurrecting you without a soul, you almost destroyed mystic falls when you were on the verge of dying. You can do anything." Klaus shared, and as he did, Beatrix turned to face him and as she did, she kissed him on the lips, and when she did, Klaus kissed her back, and when he did, Beatrix then pulled away, turning back around, Klaus chuckled "teasing me?" he asked her, as Beatrix raised her brows "you started it first, but I also know that your not gonna actually touch me until I finish this spell so the faster I do that.." she shared, as Klaus raised his brows "the faster you get me all to yourself?" he asked, making Beatrix chuckle.
