115. DID SOMEONE JUST TURN INTO THE VIRGIN MARY

Chapter one hundred and fifteen

"Did someone just turn into the virgin Mary."

Three years from now, Beatrix had taken the girls upstairs, having gotten them to brush their teeth and get their pajama's on, they were finally laying in bed, she went to turn off the light and walk out "who's the man downstairs?" Josie asked, as Beatrix turned around "just an old friend of mommy and daddy's. He'll be gone by the time you wake up. There's nothing to worry about." she told her "you didn't say the magic words." Sabrina spoke up.

As Beatrix smiled "I forgot." she said, walking into the room, she stood in between the two beds holding her arms out, she closed her eyes "as we lay down to sleep, I call upon the angels to come by and bring these baby girls nothing but good dreams and to keep the bad dreams away." she said, and as she opened her eyes both little girls were fast asleep, as she turned around walking to the bedroom door, she shut off the light and walked out, shutting the door, the only light inside was the angel nightlight.

The next morning, Beatrix had woken up in a bed in the Lockwood mansion, which she new was Damon's doing, as she got out of bed, she did a spin and changed her clothes, where as she closed her eyes, she snapped her fingers and reappeared outside the whittmore college bar, walking in, she was hoping for nothing weird to possibly just have a bottle of bourbon and drown herself in her mistakes, but as she walked in, she stopped in her tracks seeing Jo or at least the vampire soul that was shoved into her body sitting on the couch holding her laptop like a book.

As she pulled her phone out of her pocket and called the last number dialed which was Alaric, she was honestly surprised that he even answered her "hey." he told her "I, um, I'm not sure if I'm more surprised that you answered or that my dead best friend in front of me who now has a vampire soul shoved into her is sitting in a bar by herself holding her laptop like a book." Beatrix shared "yeah, well every time I look into her eyes, I see my murdered wife, so I'm taking a break." Alaric shared "okay then fine. Leave her here with me. I'll work some magic and make sure people don't come over and ask weird questions." Beatrix shared, hanging up.

She walked past Jo and over to the counter, ordering hot chocolates, she grabbed them and turned around walking over to Jo "here you go." she said, as Jo looked at her "I didn't order anything." she shared "yes but how about you put the computer down on the table and take the hot chocolate instead?" Beatrix asked, as Jo put the computer down, she turned and grabbed the hot chocolate and when she did, Beatrix's spell came into play where to anybody else in the room she didn't look like Jo, she sat down next to her.

As Jo drank the hot chocolate, Beatrix drank her's "mm. This is really good." Jo told her, as Beatrix chuckled "well usually when you get brought back to life anything tastes good." she shared, and as she did, Jo looked at her "your Beatrix, Alaric told me about you. But you brought me back." she shared, as Beatrix took a deep breath "I know. And I'm sorry. This all must be really confusing for you. Being brought back and called a different name. Having no clue about what anyone's talking about." she shared "yeah." Jo told her, as the two continued drinking their hot chocolate.

Where as night came, the two had drank at least four cups of hot chocolate although Beatrix had also gotten them cupcakes seeing as she was strangely hungry for sweets, where the door to the bar opened and as Alaric walked in he noticed Beatrix but furrowed his brows when the women she was sitting next to wasn't his dead wife as he walked over to her "I thought you were looking after Jo?" he asked her, as Beatrix looked to him "I am." she told him "then where is she?" Alaric asked.

"Sitting right behind me. You just don't know because I put a glamour spell on her that makes her look like someone else seeing as I didn't wanna be asked questions by various whitmore students." Beatrix shared "cupcake?" Jo asked him, holding it out "yeah.." Alaric told her, taking it, he furrowed his brows "uh, Beatrix?" he asked her, as Beatrix turned to Jo noticing her nose was bleeding, her eyes went wide "we need to go." she said, standing up, she grabbed Jo's hands and pulled her up "why? What's wrong?" Jo asked her.

"Nothing!" Beatrix voiced, as she brought her hand up "cough into my hand." she told her, and as she did, Jo coughed into her hand and when Beatrix brought it down it had blood on it, she turned around, looking at Alaric, he stood up and walked after them as they headed out.

Having gone back to his house, Beatrix had called Caroline and when she did, a girl with dirty blonde hair came with her "who's this?" Beatrix asked "Valerie. Don't mind her. Tell me what's going on?" Caroline asked her "her nose started to bleed and she started coughing up blood and I called you because I thought maybe.." Beatrix shared, as Caroline walked over to Jo biting into her wrist "take my blood. Drink. It'll heal you." she shared, as Jo drank the blood, she soon pulled away and threw it back up.

"Or not.." Caroline said standing up "what the hell's wrong with her?" Alaric asked "I don't think.." Beatrix was saying "seems a vampire soul inside a human body does not a perfect match make." Valerie shared "what does that mean?" Jo asked "the phoenix stone traps vampire souls. Oscar had a vampire body, got some other vampire's soul, and he lost the plot. Jo was a human. Clearly, a basic human body is unable to contain the essence of a vampire soul. You add that together, carry the one, you're a decomposing mess." Valerie shared.

As Beatrix took a deep breath "okay." she said, stepping toward's Valerie she grabbed her arm dragging her out of there, Caroline followed them "I get that you were trapped in a prison world for years but there's something called tact." Beatrix shared "I was just saying that she was a corpse who was meant to stay a corpse." Valerie told her "I know that! But unlike Oscar the one of the many heretics that nobody will miss! The women lying in that bed not only was my best friend growing up but also was supposed to be that man's wife who thanks to you siphoning freaks died with two babies inside of her thanks to her psycho of a brother!" Beatrix voiced.

"Beatrix.." Caroline told her, knowing she was being really loud "sorry. I..I had no idea." Valerie told her "and why would you? I came back from my euro trip and had new neighbors living next door while the town itself was shut down because you all came in and decided to kill people rather then try to live in society." Beatrix shared, looking to Caroline "you can go now and take her with you before things get worse." she added on, walking off.

Sitting in the living room, Beatrix had her head in her hands, having thought she was alone but then she heard the sound of the tv playing specifically Alaric's wedding video, she lifted her head up seeing Valerie, she stood up "I thought I told you to leave." she told her, as Alaric walked up behind her "yeah, what are you doing?" he asked "she's watching the wedding video of the day her and her freaks allowed Kai to come back. Turn it off!" Beatrix voiced "quiet. I recognize this chant. That gemini kid Kai thought they were sending him to a prison world." Valerie shared "yeah, cause clearly putting him with you all wasn't good enough." Beatrix shared.

"No. You're not listening. They weren't sending him away, Beatrix. They were trying to save the next generation of gemini twins." Valerie told her, as she looked to Alaric "I think your babies are still alive." she told him, as Alaric and Beatrix furrowed their brows.

They then were sitting around a table with candles on it as Alaric rolled a map out "twins are the lifeblood of the gemini coven. If a pregnant mother is in danger, then the transfer is our magical failsafe. It's rarely used but nonetheless." Valerie shared "I was so focused on Kai I wasn't even listening to their chanting." Beatrix shared "I need your blood." Valerie told him, as Alaric gave her his hand, Valerie cut it "and put it here, Indonesia, farthest geographical point from mystic falls. Your progeny are, obviously, made up of your DNA. If they're alive, the blood will travel along the map. Once it's in the proximity of the babies, the map should ignite. Close your eyes. Clear your mind." Valerie shared.

As Alaric closed his eyes "phesmatos quare infantatum. Phasmatos quare filios. Ado finet terraeum. Nunc temos rogamus. Combutis et sanguinem. Phesmotos quere infantatum." Valerie and Beatrix chanted as the blood began to move along the map "finet terraeum. Nunc temos rogamus. Combutis et sanguinem. Phesmatos quare infantatum. Phesmatos quare filios. Ado finet terraeum. Nunc temos rogamus. Combutis et sanguinem. Phesmatos quare filios." the two continued chanting, but then Beatrix opened her eyes when she felt the blood fall down at her feet "um, the bloods off the map." she said.

As Valerie opened her eyes looked at her, Beatrix grabbed a napkin "I mean I don't get it.." she said, going to clean it up but it caught on fire as she jumped back, the entire map then caught on fire as Alaric and Valerie stood up, the fire then went out "oh. What the hell happened?" Alaric asked "not possible." Valerie said, looking at Beatrix "what's not possible?" Alaric asked "the babies. They're here." Valerie shared "so someone here has been turned into the virgin Mary?" Beatrix asked, chuckling, Valerie walked toward's her "yes. Cause they're inside of you." she shared, as Beatrix's eyes went wide.
